A disappointing 0-2 last night with the NBA Tips.
We had Kings +8 but they just never stood a freaking chance. Karl-Anthony Towns was an absolute beast with 14 assists & 14 pts after 20 freaking minutes. Kings just looked like a tired team and the Timberwovles looked happy to be at home and turning things around.
We also had the Grizzlies/Warriors game to go over but Grizzlies just couldn’t get the scoring going on. That meant the Warriors relied on their bench and they just aren’t going to put up the points that the likes of Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry are going to.
Very disappointed in that Grizzlies performance.
Tonight is the usual quiet NBA night with just 4 games on the board which is nice. I take Tuesdays to Thursdays and it’s always nice
Let’s get on with the tips. My system loves the Pacers tonight but -12 is just a bit too high there unfortunately so just the one pick.
Mavericks vs Nuggets Betting Tips:
The Nuggets come into this one after three big wins in a row. they’ve beaten the Raptors, Thunder and Grizzlies. They have had a lot of solid home performances and you have to go back to early November when they last lost here.
Mavs are one of those teams that have pulled off some impressive victories this season and I am loving Luka Doncic. Hope he doesn’t regress next season.
Unfortunately the return of Dirk Nowitzki didn’t help things with the Mavs as they lost to the Suns, and then they also lost to the Kings.
I think Nowitzki will really fit into his role with this team but it’ll take time. Mavs are also likely without J.J. Barea and Dennis Smith Jr. Both are day to day but even if they do play they won’t be at full health surely.
The Nuggets are doing that thing I love – having everyone contributing. Jokic and Murray are stepping up big but you’ve also got a lot of the other guys stepping up with Millsap, Harris and Barton out.
I like that to continue into tonights game.
