Two things to start the week with. First of all, Cam Newton keeps the Panthers rolling along undefeated, but what a game that was in New York against the Giants. It was brutal, a little shocking at times, but it had everything. Seriously, if you’re one of the few people that hasn’t at least seen the highlights, check it out, because it’s one that’s going to go down in the history books, although maybe for the wrong reasons.
Also, in the Barclays Premiership, not only did Manchester United lose in a shock result to Norwich at home, but Liverpool then get stuffed on the Sunday by Watford. In fact, Watford are now within touching distance of the Champions League spots. And, yeah, Leicester keep on winning. I have to be honest, I thought the wheels would come off against Everton, but, once again, the proved their doubters wrong and are the first team to have been bottom of the league one Christmas and then top of the same league the next. Impressive stuff from Claudio Ranieri’s boys, you have to say.
It’s the build-up to Christmas, so let’s make a few extra bucks for you with today’s free sports betting tips for December 21st, 2015.
Monday Night Football Betting Tip:
Saints hosting the Lions? You can feel the festiveness in the air. Will Detroit pull a Detroit as they same to do most weeks? Will the inconsistent Saints do much? Well, we’ll find out in a few hours. The main thing here is that the Lions are 1-5 on the road, and, let’s be honest, New Orlean’s can, at times, be a tough place to go. Not this season, however, as the saints are 3-3 at home.
I’ve got to be honest, with all the pressure off, we should get a fun game, if a bit devoid of any real quality. But the Saints might have just turned a corner and things are clicking again, with the offence finally putting some numbers up. Take New Orleans -2.5 to heap on more Yuletide to the Lions.
Arsenal vs Manchester City
The entire city of Leicester will be watching this and hoping for a bruising draw. It’s going to be an exciting game with huge implications, that’s for sure. The question is, whose injuries are going to cost them the most? While Aguero might be back for City, they’re still missing Kompany, which is huge for them at the back. In fact, he’s that big a miss, they’ve been leaking goals to sides they should, such as Swansea and Stoke. So Arsenal should capitalise on this, especially if Sanchez gets some time on the pitch. Add in that Arsenal’s defence is always a bit leaky, what we’re going to see here is an attacking game, as both sides will know they can’t sit back. Over 2.5 goals is the obvious play here, and I think it should be a comfortable lift for us here, and we should see an exciting game of football for once on a Monday night.
