We’ve got one EPL game left to play today – Manchester City vs Everton.
We’ve also got NBA and NHL today. UFC is also tonight although we haven’t had the time this week to pour through all of the fighter reels – so we’ll be taking a pass on that one.
Brendan Schaub is probably worth a punt though at 3.50 odds – but that one is up to you. Pure value bet where we’d have him at 3.00 not 3.50.
Alrighty let’s get onto the betting tips for December 6th, 2014:
EPL Betting Tips:
We missed the early games but in Man City vs Everton we’ll go with Man City-Man City. A half time/full time bet at 21/20 which is a nice price. Everton haven’t looked good lately and City are starting to pick up heat.
NBA Betting Tips:
We will be taking the 76ers +9 against the Detroit Pistons. We’ve seen an improved 76ers and although they are playing back to back games – we think that can only help them. We won with them yesterday on the point spread – half a point win but still a win – and facing the Pistons right now is a good time.
Pistons are also playing some horrible ball at the moment and 76ers know this is the perfect time to get a massive win – or at least come close to it. So go with the 76ers.
We’re also on Magic +6.5. Kings are without Cousins, while Magic could welcome back Vucevic. FYI we’re considering that a bonus – we haven’t factored Vucevic and a potential return into this one. If he does then awesome – but it’s doubtful he will.
With the big two missing we seeing this being a close game, and a 3 possession point spread is just lovely in a situation like this.
Finally with the NBA we’re backing the Clippers -9. Pelicans struggle on the road and Clippers are playing some great ball at the moment. Everything is going well for them. With every time you have that one outstanding player but you need the backup staff as well and that’s what the Clippers have with Griffin & co. The Pelicans are missing that as Davis is doing it all on his own at the moment.
NHL Betting Tips:
Big night of hockey and we’ve got a lot of NHL Betting Picks for you tonight.
We’ll go with Over 5.5 goals in Leafs vs Canucks. Canucks will probably win this one – they’ve won 10 out of 11 games against the Leafs since 2006. It’s just one of those matchups where it doesn’t work out for a team. However Leafs have been very competitive and even though they were outworked by the Devils the other night – they still battled well.
We’ll also take Predators 1.80 over the Blackhawks assuming Rinne is in goal. Wait for that to be confirmed.
It’s hard to look beyond Lightning -1.5 against the Blue Jackets. Love Bobrovsky but his defense is a mess at the moment as the Panthers averaged 40 shots a game against them. Against a team with the offense of the Lightning? Not good. Not good at all.
We also like Under 5.5 goals in Senators vs Penguins.
