Whew – a close one yesterday!
We took both teams to score in Burnley vs Man City. That was a game where I was debating over 3.5 goals or BTTS. I was furious when City scored that fourth goal but Burnley, who had just 4 shots total in the game, managed to sneak one in at the death thanks to Robert Brady. City won 4-1.
What a goal from Rodri.
I thought we’d start looking ahead to the weekend now. I had fun a couple of weeks ago tackling the lower leagues in England and Scotland and thought I’d do that again with a focus on Scotland right now.
Let’s see what we got:
Arbroath vs Dundee Betting Tips:
Dundee are surprisingly big favourites here considering. Arbroath are 6th in the league and 1 point below Dundee, with a game in hand.
Arbroath are coming off a tough 1-0 loss to Morton however they have never been that good away. They are at home here where they have 14 points from 7 games and not too shabby a team.
They have the worst offensive record in the league but still muster up 1.14 goals per game at home. The best thing about their home performances is their defense who really step up here.
Dundee come into this one on a bad run of form. After losing to Dundee Utd 2-0, they lost to Inverness Caley 1-0 then lost to Queen of the South in the most ridiculous fashion possible. Seriously check this out:

I’d love to take Arbroath or Draw here but 1.61 isn’t worth it. I’m so conflicted so we’ll do a small bet on the draw. It’d be a big win for Dundee and not sure they have in them.

Dunfermline vs Morton Betting Tips:
Dunfermline are currently 4th in the league. They’re on a great run of form to boost them up the table with 4 wins in their last 5. Only a loss to Alloa in there.
They’re performing well too. Their defence is stepping up which is key. They’ve put together 4 wins at home in a row and I think that is important. Especially considering Mortons away woes. You can tell just looking at their performances they don’t have any confidence on the road.
With Caley taking on Ayr somethings gotta give and this gives Dunfermline a great opportunity to move into third place or at least put pressure on. Dunfermline have just been excellent away and they should have no problem putting the goals in here. It’s almost temping to take them on the handicap.
