It was a profitable weekend covering the Serie A. We went 3-2 for a 0.85u profit. Every little bit counts. I haven’t updated the stats on the sidebar recently but if you check the spreadsheet you’ll see we are +26.90 units in the black during this COVID era of football.
Pretty darn happy with that all things considered.
We have 5 EPL games taking place on January 27th and I am going to look through all of those today. Let’s get to it:
EPL Bets for January 27, 2021
Burnley vs Aston Villa:
Villa are decent favourites here although Burnley DID JUST BEAT LIVERPOOL. Amazing stuff.
You would hope that win would give Burnley confidence. Interestingly last time they beat Arsenal 1-0 away they faced Aston Villa and drew 0-0.
Villa are a solid team. Have to give them a lot of respect. But I don’t think we can fully count out Burnley at home. I’m good with 1u on Burnley or Draw at 1.80 odds.
Chelsea vs Wolves:
With the managerial change I am not touching Chelsea right now. BTTS is tempting as Wolves have their scoring boots on lately but I am going to stay away.
Brighton vs Fulham:
Brighton are 2.00 favourites here. Neither team is really that appealing are they? Brighton yet to win at home this season Fulham with just the one win away. Fulham have actually shown a fair bit of fighting spirit lately and I’m good with 1u on the draw at 3.30 odds.
Everton vs Leicester:
Leicester are without Vardy. Everton are decent underdogs. A large part of that is due to poor home form. With Vardy out I think 0.5u on Everton to win at 2.88 odds is fine.
Man Utd vs Sheff Utd:
Man Utd have had a lot of close results. Sheff Utd lost 3-2 to them earlier in the season. I’d love to back Draw or Sheff Utd as Man Utd aren’t invincible but the odds just don’t make it worth it.
