Internatl week is over, and it’s time to go back to the EPL for this weekends action.
I know I used to cover a lot more leagues on here – and I do hope to again at some point – but it’s just a bit low on my priority list right now.
I’ve just got too many other things on the go but like to stick with the EPL at least for consistency. Plus more than anything I really enjoy just writing soccer tips here even if I don’t really make a dime from it right now – other than my own bets, of course.
Let’s get to it:
Watford vs Liverpool:
Liverpool come in having struggled their last two games with two draws in high scoring affairs. Ranieri makes his return to the EPL.
I think Watford can get on the scoresheet here. Hard to see Liverpool not. I’m going to go with 1u on Both Teams to Score at 1.80 odds.
Aston Villa vs Wolves:
Villa have been such an odd team this season but one thing we are learning is – at the moment – you don’t mess with them at home. They look good there including that big 3-0 win over Everton.
Wolves have turned around early struggles to win two on the trot.
Strong lean on Villa but Villa could have issues due to international break with players such as Martinez and Luiz. Wolves could be getting in a groove under Bruno Lage and I wish to see how that plays out. No bet.
Leicester vs Man Utd:
Man Utd come in struggling. Leicester also are playing poor with just a couple wins this season.
This is a massive game for Man Utd and I feel good they will deliver here. Leicester are one of those teams where it is about time to start reassessing them. 1u on Utd to win at 2.05 odds.
Man City vs Burnley:
With City games it’s a case of just deciding whether they cover the handicap or not these days. I remember analyzing them coming back from previous international breaks and wasn’t super impressed. No bet as like I said it’s mostly a coinflip and -2.5 is 2.00 odds, exactly coinflip. No value there.
Norwich vs Brighton:
Norwich come in having gained their first point against Burnley. Brighton still playing solid this season.
I’ve said recently I keep thinking Norwich will come good or at least get something. I still feel that for whatever reason. But results so far this year – Brighton 1u to win at 2.10 odds is a solid value play. Tempted by 2u.
Southampton vs Leeds:
Nothing here.
Brentford vs Chelsea:
With results so far this season, and Lukaku possibly out or at least not 100%, 1u on Brentford or Draw seems fine to me at 2.25 odds.
