EPL Bets: October 2nd, 2021

It was a slightly rare (for this season anyway) losing week in the EPL last week as I got absolutely thumped.

loved my Both Teams to Score = No bet in Brentford vs Liverpool, as they made an absolute mockery of that.

What was most crushing was Leeds vs West Ham. 1u on the draw there at 3.60 odds, would have made it a nice close to breakeven week. Bloody last minute goal by Antonio.

Let’s get onto this week and hope for a better week.

Man Utd vs Everton:

Man Utd suffered their first defeat of the season in that surprising loss to Aston Villa. Everton also lost to Villa! They bounced back with that win over Norwich.

Man Utd have shown defensive vulnerabilities with just one clean sheet all season. Everton have been great at scoring. After Europe, Utd may be a bit sloppy. Everton still struggling with injuries but 1u on Both Teams to Score 1.90.

Burnley vs Norwich:

Oof. I still feel like Norwich are going to come good at some point. Burnley though looked good against Leicester and were unlucky. I lost in a survivor competiton thanks to that one.

I’m too conflicted on this one and no bet. I just feel good about Norwich for some reason, but the stats don’t back that up.

Chelsea vs Southampton:

Chelsea will look to bounce back after that City loss against a Southampton team who have been quite tight this season.

I think this one will be a tight affair. I’m going to go with Draw +1 for 1u at 3.40 meaning if one team wins by 1 goal, we’re good.
