Sunday, August 25th will see three games in the English Premier League take place.
Bournemouth host Man City with City massive favourites in that one at 1.16 odds. Tottenham are similar favourites as they host Newcastle and are 1.25 favourites. Then it’s a bit closer in the other game of the day which is Wolves hosting Burnley.
Wolves are favourites at 1.85 odds.
Always like to do tips for all 3 games that take place on a Sunday. Bit tricky with such heavy favourites but let’s see what we can do:
Bournemouth vs Man City Betting Tips:
Bournemouth are unbeaten to start the season. A 1-1 draw with Sheffield United was followed up by a 2-1 win over Aston Villa. Bournemouth were a bit lucky in that Villa game.
Man City beat West Ham 5-0 then had a 2-2 draw at home to Spurs. They had a lot of attempts against Spurs but it was a lot of half chances and I think they will focus more on their finishing in this one.
I’ve seen nothing from Bournemouth to suggest anything other than the usual – they can beat up on certain teams but get thumped by the big teams. They did employ a very defensive game against City last season where they lost 1-0 but didn’t even have one chance. Have to expect more of that here.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle Betting Tips:
Spurs will be ecstatic that they escaped with the point against City and will be looking to build momentum as they take on Newcastle.
Newcastle aren’t coming out looking good and Steve Bruce must just be hating life right now.
I think we see a solid Spurs performance here and another disappointing day for Newcastle fans.

Wolves vs Burnley Betting Tips:
Two draws in two games for Wolves and some solid Europa League performances. Nice time to be a Wolves fan.
Burnley beat Southampton 3-0 then lost to Arsenal 2-1 in a very close game.
You do wonder if the extra Europa League games will be taking their toll on Wolves and that they may do a bit of a slower game here despite being at home.
Burnley fans will be looking forward to seeing Danny Drinkwater possibly playing although I expect he’ll be coming off the bench.
I think this will be a close game and while Wolves are favourites, I think it’s even and Wolves will be happy to escape with the draw. Burnley are a tough team and not someone you want to underestimate.
