Alrighty let’s continue with our focus on Saturdays football.
Always a bit nerve-wracking having so many tips taking place on the same day but it is what it is.
I’ve already covered English Championship tips for January 18th and Bundesliga Tips for January 18th so let’s look at the English Premier League action taking place now.
“Biggest” game on the weekend is on Sunday with Liverpool hosting Man Utd. Although is that really a big one these days? Meh. I’ll focus on Saturdays games anyway.
I REALLY want to back Watford here. They’re playing above themselves at the moment but man such a hot run it’s so tempting. I just think Spurs can squeak a draw out of it at the very least and Watford vs Draw just isn’t a decent price.
Arsenal vs Sheff Utd Betting Tips:
I REALLY hate backing Arsenal, but I think this is a good spot for them here.
Sheff Utd had a great run stopped with losses to Liverpool and Man City but bounced back strong against West Ham. They’re not the worlds worst travelers however with a 3-6-2 record and so I think a lot of people will be looking at the draw here.
However I think Arsenal can pip them.
Arteta needs to lean on this team heard it seems. And you know he will be making a big deal of this one. Sheff Utd are 4pts above them in the league and have the 2nd best defensive record in the league so this is not an easy game by any means.
I just have a gut feeling Arsenal pull it out here even though they are without Aubameyang. I think Arteta will have them properly motivated. They seem to be creating more chances. Ozil is returning to form.
Aubameyang is a big loss considering he has scored half the goals under Artetas team however they will have had time to prepare for this one.
If the draw comes up then I won’t be surprised as on paper, this is a proper draw game. However I just have a gut feeling Arsenal take it.

Southampton vs Wolves Betting Tips:
Southampton haven’t played too bad for most of the season and we’re seeing it all pay off now. They are on a big run at the moment. 6 games unbeaten including wins over Chelsea, Spurs and Leicester. Impressive stuff.
Wolves are struggling at the moment with 3 games without a win. Southampton are playing with confidence now and self-belief and are actually performing better at home which is nice to see.
With Wolves you have to wonder if the length of the season is hurting them with all the Europa League. They also played a strong side in the FA Cup replay which I think was a bit of a mistake.
I just don’t think Wolves can recharge enough here and that Southampton can take this one.
