Hi all,
Today I’m going to look at all three EPL games taking place on January 22nd. A reminder that I’ve got January 21st, 2020 EPL Betting Tips up on the site already.
There are three games taking place in the EPL on Wednesday.
They are Leicester City vs West Ham, Tottenham vs Norwich and Man Utd versus Burnley.
Hopefully we get some good games and some solid midweek action. 3 heavy favourites at home.
Let’s get right onto the betting tips with two tips:
Leicester vs West Ham Betting Tips:
Who knew that Leicester weren’t reliable after all? One of the best teams of the season come into this one on the back of a two game losing streak to two teams in the bottom half of the table fighting relegation. Brutal. I think what makes it worse is that in both teams they blew the lead. I’d say they deserved to lose against Southampton but were a tad unlucky against Burnley.
They hope to right the ship against West Ham, another team in the bottom half. They have been able to pull the odd win out but generally not doing too well and Leicester beat them recently too.
I do like Leicester to get back on track here but the odds don’t really make it worth a bet.
The story right now is their defensive issues. So the question is more can West Ham score to make it worth betting BTTS? Leicesters defensive issues go back quite far with something like only one clean sheet in their last 8 games.
At home they have only 36% clean sheets overall. West Ham have failed to score in 45% of their away matches.
Stat wise I’d say there’s a very good chance West Ham score first if you want to back something there. 3.10 odds isn’t too shabby for that.

Tottenham vs Norwich Betting Tips:
Despite recent results, Spurs are heavy favourites as they host Norwich. However they have failed to score in their last 3 matches.
These two teams had a fun game recently drawing 2-2. That was a decent battle with clinical finishing by Norwich which is rare for them with one of the worst xGs in the league. In saying that, Spurs have a bad xGA on the road.
Since Mourinho has taken over, Spurs xG has dropped dramatically. Losing Kane hasn’t helped here. Norwich got that massive win over Bournemouth which they needed to survive. They are still rooted bottom but it was nice to see that.
The bookies expect a high scoring game but I am not too sure there. If the Spurs offense clicks then so be it.
