Hi all,
I covered a couple of the games taking place in the EPL on Saturday already.
You can see those tips here. For reference, I covered Man Utd vs Wolves and Leicester City vs Chelsea. They should be good games.
Looking through everything yesterday though there was a few other EPL games that I quite fancied, so I’ve decided to cover them today.
Let’s get to it:
Liverpool vs Southampton Betting Tips:
It’s always hard betting on Liverpool games this season. They are just a well oiled machine. It’s generally a case these days of ‘will the other team score” then basing a bet on that.
Looking at this one, I think Southampton can score.
Yes Liverpool have the best defense in the league. However Southampton breached them before back in August and I think they can do it again.
They’re a changed team lately and playing with a lot of confidence. They hit rock bottom and have now turned it all around.
They’re also one of those bizarre teams that simply play better away as opposed to home. They have the worst home record in the league but the 5th best away record in the league. They’re also one of the most on form teams in the EPL right now, behind just Liverpool and Man City.
I know Liverpool have been incredible defensively lately. The amount of clean sheets they are racking up at home is impressive. Danny Ings hasn’t been amazing lately or anything but the rest of the team are making up for it. I think they can get a goal here.

Watford vs Everton Betting Tips:
One of those games where I feel a likely outcome is a draw.
Since the managerial change Everton have been solid. Ditto for Watford under Nigel Pearson.
Watford just had a great 6 game unbeaten run ended away to Villa. They’re now tied for 17th which isn’t the worst place to be in. They know how crucial every game is and this game against Everton will be a big one.
Everton have been playing well but have a poor away record overall. Again a lot of it has changed during their current run though where they only have a loss to City in their most recent games away. Wins over Newcastle and draws against West Ham and Man Utd are in there.
They have conceded a goal in 11 away games in a row but have also managed to score in most of their away games.
A big game for both teams. While I was leaning towards the draw initially, I think over 2.5 is the way to go. They are a few key injuries though like Sigurdsson and Sarr though so have to bear that in mind.
