The English Premier League returns from the international break this weekend.
In case you missed it, I took the time to write an article with my friend Fraser about the current EPL Table versus the xG Diff EPL Table. While it’s early days, it’s always interesting to get an idea this early who is playing above themselves and vice versa.
It gives a good basis in regard to who is riding their luck and so on and while I wouldn’t base actual tips on it, it does give a good foundation and is just one more thing to consider.
One intriguing game will be Man Utd vs Leicester. Man Utd will be missing Luke Shaw, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial for that game.

Man Utd vs Leicester Betting Tips:
Leicester are currently 4.00 odds. I think it’s well worth backing them, or Draw or Leicester.
Man Utd without Pogba in midfield is just brutal. While you can’t count out Man Utd, with a player like him missing they are going to have some serious issues.
I still think Leicester should be underdogs but not at that price and it’s a nice value bet.

Brighton vs Burnley Betting Tips:
Both teams come into this one desperate for a win. After a bright start to the season, Brighton have been held goalless their last two games losing 2-0 to Southampton and 4-0 to Man City.
Burnley haven’t won in three games. Their only win this season was the opening day win at home to Southampton.
Brighton haven’t looked too shabby. We still don’t know what to fully expect from them but they have looked good and are taking the game to their opponents. Have to think Neil Maupay can get back to scoring goals.
Burnley will be missing Danny Drinkwater due to an incident at a nightclub. They will rely on Ashley Westwood more. Brighton are of course missing Leandro Trossard which is tough.
xG wise, Burnley have been solid this season and I think this game is ripe for goals.

Wolves vs Chelsea Betting Tips:
With the majority of other games involving heavy favourites, I thought I’d take a look at this one.
Wolves haven’t won yet this season but are draw specialists with 3 draws. Chelsea will be frustrated at only the one win this season against Norwich. A lot of hard fought games.
If you look at the xG map Chelsea deserve to be higher in the league. However they seem to concede a fair amount of chances in games and that is a concern. Wolves are pretty clinical at the finishing.
With Wolves playing at home and celebrating the anniversary of Molineux, I think they willb e up for it and fighting. Chelsea will play the Chelsea way and this should result in goals.
