We’ve entered the final week of the NBA season before the All-Star Game. This year’s game should be lots of fun with Team Giannis Antetokounmpo taking on Team LeBron James. The break goes through the weekend so these are the last few days of games. Teams should be jockeying for position and going all out as they know they have the break coming up.
Now is the time that we should start seeing player movement in the NHLL pick up as well. We are two weeks away from the trade deadline and there is always a ton of action. This year’s big sellers could be Columbus, Detroit and Ottawa, and despite their places in the standings they all have some very interesting pieces that could help a contender. Stay tuned.
For now, we have the games. Let’s take a look at today’s betting tips as we cover three sports in the picks.
NBA Betting Tips:
Charlotte Hornets at Indiana Pacers: The Indiana Pacers have really righted the ship after losing Victor Oladipo and tonight will see the Pacers debut of Wesley Matthews taking his place. That is a nice fit and I really think this team will continue to be a strong defensive squad. I like what I’m seeing here and I think they’ll grab a much needed home win here.
Milwaukee Bucks at Chicago Bulls: On Saturday, Giannis sat and the Bucks got absolutely worked by the Orlando Magic in Milwaukee. That can’t have sat well with the team or especially the coaching staff and I fully expect the Bucks to come out tonight fully motivated. Giannis should be playing tonight and I expect them to absolutely wipe the floor with the Bulls here.
NCAA Women’s College Basketball Betting Tips:
South Carolina at Connecticut: An absolutely huge match-up tonight as the #12 ranked South Carolina heads to Connecticut to take on the fifth-ranked Huskies. This UConn team is a huge favorite here as they are an astonishing 159-4 at home with only one non-conference win. They should win here because they always win here, but I don’t love them as much as this line says.
Carolina coach Dawn Staley is trying to change the program and UConn is no longer the juggernaut that they once were. This UConn squad starts a freshman and sophomore and is quite reliant on them. While SC has a veteran lineup that should look to put pressure on the underclassmen. An upset here would be a huge shocker, but I expect Carolina to keep it closer than this line.
NHL Betting Tips:
Pittsburgh Penguins at Philadelphia Flyers: The Penguins have been struggling of late and they play the Flyers, who have been hot of late. The Penguins still hold the upper hand in the playoff race, but the Flyers are gaining. These two teams face off tonight in a battle of Pennsylvania. It seems like the scoring is always crazy between these two teams and I expect that to be the case again here tonight.
