Tuesday, February 12th sees the return of the UEFA Champions League following the Winter break that they take.

We go straight into the knockout rounds with two intriguing games.

We’ve got Roma vs Porto and Man United vs PSG.

Always tricky to try and handicap these I find. However I’m always game.

I mean I’m going to be watching them anyway – need a bet on them at least!

Let’s get right into it and feel free to contribute your own thoughts in the comments.

Roma vs Porto Betting Tips:

Roma qualified from Group G in 2nd place but their form to get here wasn’t that impressive. They won 3 and lost 3 in the group stages including a surprise loss to Viktoria Plzen. The other two losses were against Real Madrid. In saying that they had already qualified before the Viktoria game.

Roma are currently 6th in Serie A and come in with some mixed form.

Porto had a much better record in Group D where they won 5 out of 6 games. They drew the other 1-1 against Schalke in Germany so an impressive record. They’re also coming in on some weak form however having drawn their last two games. They’re top of the Primeira Liga but it is very tight at the top and those dropped points will be a concern.

I’m just not completely solid on Roma. They have been showing some rocky displays. They do have some solid home form but Porto have been good away too and I have to wonder if their league results are because they’re saving themselves for this game.

1u on Both Teams to Score. Highly tempted by Draw or FC Porto but I could see Roma nicking it. 1.75 odds at https://www.Bovada.lv

Man United vs PSG Betting Tips:

When you think of the Mourinho era and what has changed it’s quite amazing to think that Man Utd actually made it here. It was tight but they made it out of Group H ahead of Valencia.

Even people born yesterday know how Man Utd are doing in the league currently, after the managerial change.

PSG got here on some rocky form as they won 3, drew 2 and lost 1. There was a couple of tight games like when they needed a 93rd minute goal to draw with Napoli at home. It was a tough group though. They come in on the back of some rare weak league form. A loss to Lyon and a tight victory over Bordeaux. Despite that they are still top of Ligue 1 and scoring goals for fun.

Despite their domestic form, I’m a bit surprised that Man Utd are favoured the way they are. This is a massive game and while I am loving watching Man Utd under Solksjaer, I still am a bit wary of them. This is the big stage.

I’ve got to think they go for it the way they have been however and we see a good game of offensive football. Unless De Gea pulls off a blinder I think PSG can get one past him at least.

1u on Over 2.5 Goals. You can bet that at 1.72 odds at https://www.Bovada.lv
