It’s Saturday, and I hope everyone is ready for a good day of sports.
The NBA is off schedule sadly due to the all star weekend but there’s still a lot of fun activities to be had with that. The NHL continues it’s schedule as per usual.
Today we’re going to be focused on the soccer games taking place so let’s get to that:
Barclays Premier League Betting Tips:
We’re going to take Bournemouth to beat Stoke because honestly I just don’t see Stoke bouncing back here. That was a crushing loss against Everton and they are on a really downward spiral at the moment.
Bournemouth have had some good form as of late and honestly they are a lot better than their league position suggests. They also like to run with the ball a lot and that could cause a lot of issues for Stoke City.
We’re going to take Bournemouth for the win.
We’re also going to take a Draw in Sunderland vs Man Utd. Utd have looked more solid as of late but Sunderland generally play a tight game at home. Of their 13 games played at home Utd have drawn 4 of them and every game has been incredibly tight. We expect similar here. Sure Sunderland has the 2nd worst home form in the league but there is still 3 draws in there and we think they will play a tight game here.
We’re also going to take West Ham to defeat Norwich. This game takes place on the road for the Hammers, but that won’t bother them with a lot of solid away performances. Norwich seriously struggle at home and yet oddly don’t draw as much. They either win or lose due to a do or die sort of mentality. It’s not to that extreme but we’ll take West Ham to sneak a big result here.
We’ll also take a double of Everton and Chelsea. First – Everton. They are playing a bit more solid football lately. Nothing groundbreaking but still a lot better than earlier in the season. Going up against Newcastle – the Magpies are absolutely horrific on the road with just 2 wins and 1 draw in 12 games. That’s absolutely brutal. Chelsea should have absolutely no problem with them and it’d be pretty darn bad if they did.
Finally – Everton vs WBA. Everton have turned things around in these last few weeks to a ridiculous degree. I mean they looked an absolute mess. I have a soft spot for Everton and generally watch all their games every season and I have to admit I skipped a few as it was just so frustrating to watch.
Now? I’m loving it. A couple of just dominant wins and suddenly everything is clicking. That result at Stoke? Absolutely beautiful. Aaron Lennon is really clicking finally and I just love everything about them at the moment.
Both of them are decent favourites and I don’t really enjoy betting 4/9 or 8/15. If I was to pick one it’d be Everton but I’d take the double at 1.21/1.
