Welcome to the free sports betting tips for Monday February 13th, 2016.
With no NFL to talk to you about, my attention firmly goes back to the world of European football, mainly the English Premiership, although it has to be said that goings on in the Scottish Premier League, namely at Ibrox, have also been centre stage this week. Yes, the Mark Warburton saga at Rangers has been getting all the headlines and the dust has still to settle on it all. Needless to say, Graeme and I were back and forth all of Friday just going on about how mental it all is. What’s even more mental though is that Burnley got a point against Chelsea and Leicester are not in a real battle against relegation. Yes, Leicester lost yet again, this time to a resurgent Swansea and are now just one point from the relegation places. It’s been a fun season so far in England and although Chelsea are on their way to the title, things are complicated at the top and the bottom. Exciting for fans, even better for us punters.
Now, let’s get onto the free sports betting tips for February 13th, 2017.
Bournemouth vs Manchester City Betting Tips
This is a big game for Manchester City tonight, as a win here takes them from 5th in the Premiership right up to 2nd. It’s that close at the top. As for Bournemouth, a win doesn’t get them any further up the table, but it does get them closer to that magical 40-point mark that a lot of managers look for in the Premiership.
Games involving Bournemouth have a goals per game average of 3.42 goals, while 62% of their games go over 2.5 goals. 50% of their games go over 3.5 goals. Their 6-3 defeat at Everton is a shining example of how open Bournemouth games are. As for Manchester City, their matches have 3.25 goals on average. 75% have gone over 2.5 goals and 42% have gone over 3.5. The stats point to one thing – goals. There is no value at all in the 4/9 on offer for 2.5 goals, but I think over 3.5 goals at just over evens looks like the play here, given that it’s a 50/50 shot a Bournemouth games goes over 3.5. Add in the fact the Bournemouth have some defensive injuries to worry about and Manchester City could be on for a few goals themselves and if Bournemouth go for it, like we expect them to, they should hopefully nab on, too.
I think Manchester City HT/FT is also the play here. They’ve been leading HT and FT the joint most amount of times in the Premiership, doing it five times, the same as Chelsea and Manchester United. It’s just a shade over Evens, so get involved in this, as I can see an open game with a lot of goals, hopefully most of them coming from Manchester City.
