After a quick look, there’s really nothing worth betting for January 30th, 2019.
One of those where I am looking for some stats based picks then feel like I am trying to force bets out of games rather than have a bet jump out at me.
So forget about Thursday as we will jump a day ahead to Friday. A few games taking place in the major leagues so let’s get to them and see what we’ve got:
Kilmarnock vs Hearts Betting Tips:
Honestly I think I am only looking to bet this one because I’m excited about watching it.
We’ve got third place Killie against 5th place Hearts in the battle at the top for the Scottish Premier League. A win for Killie would be massive for them and push them above Rangers.
Hearts stumbled out of the block after the winter break with a 2-1 loss to Dundee. They bounced back with a very solid win over St. Johnstone who are a tough team on the road.
Kilmarnock meanwhile are excellent at home which is why we backed them not to lose to Rangers last time out.
Hearts are going to be the more desperate team and the pressure is on them more. For Kilmarnock while victory would be amazing they will play a more cautious game. That always suits them well at home.
I’ve flip flopped back and forth here but I think Kilmarnock have what it takes to win. I was going to go with Both Teams to Score but their home performances are just good enough for me.
Still just a small bet as like I said I “want” to bet it more than anything else.

De Graafschap vs NAC Betting Tips:
Basement battle between these two teams in the Dutch Eredivise.
I’ve got to go with the home team here. They’ll be more up for this game knowing it will take them out of the bottom spot. Their home performances this season aren’t bad at all. Both teams seem to struggle on the road but do the business at home.
Offense and defense wise you can’t pick them apart but I mean De Graafschap have managed to win 4 out of 10 at home with a draw in there. That’s very impressive. They just had that big 5-1 win over Fortuna Sittard and are starting to look like that team who just gain confidence at home.
Based on that, this is a big big game for them. They know all the marbles are on the line to save themselves for relegation and every home game is crucial. This is one of those “if they don’t win this they deserve to be relegated” type of games.
