Welcome to the free sports betting tips for February 22nd 2016.
So what happened over the weekend? Well, Bellator put on one hell of a show on Friday, but for all the wrong reasons. Anyone that didn’t think Kimbo vs DADA wasn’t just going to be a freak show were proven wrong, as we had one of the worst fights of all time. Not that Shamrock vs Gracie was much better, of course. And then over the weekend, we had FA Cup action, with the highlight being Chelsea beating what was essentially a Manchester City youth side 5-1. Will it give a boost to the Chelsea faithful? Of course. Will it make up for a terrible season? Of course not. Hull also got a good 0-0 draw against cup holders Arsenal, ending their losing run against the Gunners. And then last night as WWE’s Fastlane event, and also Anthony Davis put up 59 points for the Pelicans, who desperately needed that win over Detroit.
Now, let’s get to the free sports betting tips for February 22nd 2016
FA Cup Betting Tip
The Monday night game in the FA Cup sees Manchester United heading to Shrewsbury Town in a game that looks very one-sides on paper. Sure, Manchester United have been poor for most of the season, but this is their last chance of any silverware this season, and they’ll be looking to do a number on Shrewsbury Town tonight. Even without the likes of Wayne Rooney, this Manchester United side will be far too good for their hosts tonight. It’s just a question of how much of a show they’re going to put on, and how much the home side sit back, hoping for the lucrative replay at Old Trafford.
The fact is, if United can get an early goal, the Shrews are going to have to attack at some point to get that draw, which is going to leave them vulnerable. Take Manchester United -1 as the pick for this game, as there could be a few goals being banged in as the Red Devils look for some glory this season.
NBA Betting Tips:
Not a busy card of action tonight, but still some good-looking games on offer. Raptors -4 is our first pick. The Knicks are just not playing great ball at the moment. Sure, they stopped their skid, but it was against Minnesota. Yeah, Toronto have had a bit of a dip since the All-Star break, but they got back down to business in good style last time out, and they should have far too much for New York, who will struggle to break down the Raptors’ D.
Speaking of beating Minnesota, we’re also backing Celtics -5 against the Timberwolves. The All-Star break hasn’t been too bad for the Celtics, and they’ve come out of it showing some signs of rust, but nothing too serious. Minnesota, on the other hand, have been stinking joints up for the most part, and their form is just awful. Boston are looking strong in the paint, and Isaian Thomas is playing serious basketball at the moment, which is more than enough to cruise past the stuttering Timberwolves.
