A nice 2-0 day yesterday with the Scottish Championship.
We had Falkirk or Draw and while they were behind for a little bit, McKenna scored for Falkirk in the 84th minute to tie it up against Dundee Utd and that was how it ended.
We also had Ross County to beat Partick Thistle and that was a game of two halves. Thistle took a surprise 2-0 lead 25 minutes in but Ross County came back strong in the second half and won 4-2.
For Sunday, February 24th we’ll hop on the plane to Italy where we’ll cover Serie A. Always love me some Sunday Serie A – whenever I watch it it just reminds me of growing up and watching it every Sunday on Channel 4. That was back when there wasn’t really any Scottish or English games on Sundays.
Sampdoria vs Cagliari Betting Tips:
Sampdoria are currently mid table after a poor run of results while Cagliari are hovering above the relegation zone.
It’s been sad to see Sampdoria drop out of contention for a European spot but I’ve got to think they can make an impact on the league with a win here. This is a crucial game for them.
While their incoming form looks bad with 3 losses in a row, the only one of concern is Frosinone. No shame in losing to the likes of Inter Milan or Napoli.
Cagliari got a crucial victory over Parma but end of the day – Sampdoria are a much better team here. The heads won’t be down as they are aware where they stand in Serie A and know that they need to beat Cagliari.
Cagliari are brutal on the road with 8 defeats in 12 games and just one victory and they struggle offensively. I like Sampdoria to get a convincing win here.

Chievo vs Genoa Betting Tips:
I think we are getting a nice little price on Genoa here.
They struggle away with 7 losses in 11 away games however they just got a solid 3-1 win awy to Empoli. A draw against Bologna away is a good sign and gives them confidence.
Chievo are not a good team. They are going to get relegated and while they have had a tough little run of games lately I just think Genoa are a much better side.
Chievo struggle to score but concede on average 2 goals per game. Genoa have a solid offense and while their defense away is brutal (2.36 GAA vs 1.71 overall pretty much sums it up) I think Chievos offensive woes will be a hurter for them.
I’m taking Genoa to win.
