It’s the minor league MMA tonight in action, as we have Bellator 134 and Invicta 11.
Speaking of Bellator – can you BELIEVE they actually booked Kimbo Slice vs Ken Shamrock? Holy moley. You know – I can totally see them using Kimbo Slice. He’s still got name value, intrigue value etc and he’s not a complete embarassment.
Ken Shamrock though? Yikes. There is no-one that is more of a joke in the MMA industry in this generation than him.
I mean don’t get me wrong – love the hell out of Shamrock – but my gosh. He hasn’t fought since 2010. And back then he SUCKED – how bad will he be now?
I honestly can’t believe he’ll even get a fight – I refuse to believe it honestly. I wish we could bet on whether it will happen because I can’t see a commission allowing him to fight.
Anyhoo let’s see what we have tonight for the betting tips:
Bellator 134 Betting Tips:
It’s the British invasion, and it should be a very fun card. We’re looking forward to it for sure.
First up we like Emanuel Newton over Liam McGeary. Newton is a good sized underdog at +155 odds.
McGeary comes into this one undefeated obviously, but Newton has been on a tear since that knockout of King Mo. He has beaten a lot of solid fighters and some great KOs. What’s great is he still doesn’t get much respect even inside the MMA community so every fight he feels he has something to prove. McGeary has not fought anyone of Newtons calibre.
In the main fight, we’ll be taking King Mo to beat Kongo. Mo is +135 at the moment which is a nice price. Yeah Mo has been disappointing but that loss to Rampage reinvigorated him. Look at his two knockouts of Vedepo and Jacoby.Now he’s fighting Chieck Kongo who has had some nice results that’s for sure – but we think Mo has what it takes here and with it being a tight fight, have to go for the underdog.

Invicta 11 Betting Tips:
While most books run Bellator and UFC betting odds, it’s hard to find out where to bet on Invicta.
You can bet on Invicta at https://www.Bovada.lv which is a very reputable sportsbook and covers practically all MMA.
First of all – after the night of upsets last week, I’m sure everyone is sitting there toying with betting on Charmaine Tweet to beat Cyborg. She’s currently at +800 odds. My recommendation? Don’t. You’re just burning your money. This fight is going to be brutal and not in the viewing sense – we watched the open workouts and what Tweet is capable of? Yikes. This is not going to be pretty.
In Alexa Grasso vs Mizuki Inoue, we recommend a bet on Mizuki Inoue. She is a +125 underdog which is a good price with small value – honestly with no juice odds this should be +100. This is going to be a tremendous fight and Inoue is unreal in terms of cardio. In a few years who knows how good she will be. Grasso is of course a beast but I don’t think she has came up with anyone with the boxing skill of Inoue yet.
