A 1-1 record last night.

We go for the Lakers and they disappoint us. We go against the Lakers and they pull off a huge upset. We laid the points with the Celtics at home against LA and it looked great at the half. Boston was up 9 and the Lakers looked off. Then the third quarter happened and the Lakers exploded for a 42-27 run. LeBron James looked to be back with a 28/12/12 line and Rajon Rondo got some revenge against his old team with a game winning shot. Weird game.

Our other pick was the Pacers who absolutely blew out the Clippers for the easy win. The Tobias Harris trade hit this Clipper team hard and it won’t be a surprise to see them slip out of the playoff picture.

The trade deadline has passed and Anthony Davis is still a Pelican. It’s crazy to me that they plan on letting him play the rest of the season. They just have so much to lose if anything were to happen to him. There were a lot of other trades that could affect tonight’s games so proceed with caution when betting tonight.

New York Knicks vs. Detroit Pistons Betting Tips:

Who is even going to be playing for the Knicks here? They just bought out Enes Kanter and Wesley Matthews so they are out and that leaves a ton of youth. DeAndre Jordan is the veteran here and he’ll be playing alongside Kevin Knox and Dennis Smith Jr. That isn’t really inspiring and the worst team in the league has somehow become worse.

The Pistons are Blake Griffin’s team and while they did some moves on the fringe, they go as he goes. He will be able to do whatever he wants against this team tonight and I’m laying the points here.

Denver Nuggets vs. Philadelphia 76ers Betting Tips:

There has been a lot of talk about the all-in trades that the Sixers made. They added Tobias Harris and Boban Marjanovic from the Clippers (who should play tonight), and traded Markelle Fultz for Jonathon Simmons (who probably won’t). Joel Embiid is listed as questionable for this one and the team is still trying to figure out how to get enough shots for Jimmy Butler as well. There are a lot of players who will look to score and I just think this thing is going to take some time. Embiid and JJ Reddick can be the glue guys to hold it together, but with both listed as questionable tonight I am bullish on the Sixers here.

The Nuggets are great. Malik Beasley has been a revelation since getting more minutes and with no Embiid, I expect Nikola Jokic to run wild in this one. This line is way too high to me as outside of the home court, the Nuggets are the better team thus far this year. I think they are a great value at this line.

Golden State vs. Phoenix Suns Betting Tips:

The king stays the king and despite all the trades, the Warriors are still the boss of this league. This is an IF bet for me. Devin Booker is listed as questionable and as long as he doesn’t play, I’m on board with laying the points on the Warriors here.
