No luck at the Phoenix Open.
The 60/1 pick of Rickie Fowler came super close. Just two strokes out of the E/W cash which was tough.
Disappointing performance by Tom Kim who I thought should handle that course better. Cantlay I knew what we were getting into. Disappointed by Brendon Todd who didn’t even make the cut.
Disappointing start to the year for the golf bets but that’s how it goes. Was good to at least see the Rickie pick up there.
Let’s get on with the Genesis Invitational:
Genesis Invitational Betting Tips:
Cantlay hits a lot of the metrics this week. Annoying though as he appears to be in a funk. If you look at his history, he’s not really a big bounce back player he more progressively bounces back and peaks. I don’t hate a bet on him at about 30/1 but I am not advising it.
$31.50 (1/4u) on Jordan Spieth E/W at 30/1
Jordan looked absolutely fantastic last week. Best I have seen frim hin a long time. He’s had a couple of solid fixtures here, and he’s someone I am happy to back when they look to be at the top of their game, and he has no problem with the Poa Annua.
$31.50 (1/4u on Wyndham Clark E/W at 75/1
Played very well last week and is looking good this season. Solid finishes here before. If he is playing well and his putting continues to go well, he should contend here.
