Welcome to Wednesday where we cover the golf and the CFL.
It’s been a fun little betting week – made some nice money with WWE on the weekend especially. In last weeks CFL you either would have went 2-2 or 2-1 based on my tips – just depends if you bet the Redblacks after Carter was announced as playing. The line didn’t really change so hopefully most of you stayed away.
Golf was fun with the Wyndham Championship. It was a slight losing week but thankfully Brandt Snedeker made us a few bucks to stop the loss from being bad:
Would have been about a half unit loss overall.
Alright so this week we’re covering the PGA Tour, European Tour and then the CFL. Let’s get to it…
CFL Bets for Week 10:
First up I’m on Redblacks -2.5. They’re on a bad little run at the moment however Trevor Harris is back and in my opinion that’s the boost they need to get things going. Hopefully he can return and slot in there like he was never gone.
I’m also on Blue Bombers +2 this week. I like what Winnipeg are doing at the moment – they’re playing well and looking confident. Alouettes are coming off a good performance but I don’t know if I’m sold on them yet – they’re very inconsistent.
I’ve bet against the Riders a lot but I have to go with Roughriders +14. It’s a big point spread and I don’t know if Edmonton will cover it.
Finally I’m staying away from point spreads in the final game and taking Over 53 points in Tiger-Cats vs Stampeders. This should be a fun game between the teams with both teams with strong offenses.
Free Golf Bets:
First up the Barclays – last week money winner for us Brandt Snedeker is on my radar again. This is a tough course and he’s proven himself here. He’s also in-form. I like what I’ve seen from him and at +3500 I feel he’s worth a bet to win and E/W.
I’m also on Henrik Stenson although I’m not too happy about it so I’d advise betting small. You see a lot of golfers performing incredibly well then it just goes tits up. Look at Dustin Johnson recently for the best example. I get that vibe on Stenson here so I’m only making a small bet on him and I’m going purely for a Top 5 finish.
Finally I’ve got a small bet on Jordan Spieth and at +1400 that makes it to win and E/W. I love Spieth and you never know when he’s going to show up. If he shows up he can take this tournament and I think that price is just too darn high and well worth a bet.
On the European Tour it’s the Made in Denmark tournament. I’ve got 4 bets – all small ones – to win and E/W. I’m on Bradley Dredge because of his course form, Paul Lawrie due to some past form here and some okay performances lately. Terry Pilkadaris and David Horsey are my final two bets.
Enjoy the week.
