Welcome to Wednesdays sports betting tips where we cover the golf as per usual on Wednesdays.

Sorry about the delay in todays tips. I was too busy chatting with Fraser with the Euro 2016 betting tips. We’re both so excited as is Scott, who will also be covering Euro 2016 and we’re hoping to make it a very profitable tournament.

Be sure to check out our Euro 2016 section for all of the betting tips there as well as Euro 2016 schedules.

This week in the golf we’re hoping for a good week. We had a decent week last week. It could have been better. The 18/1 Danny Willett should have got us a cash if not a win on the European Tour, but unfortunately he had a massive drop on the last day.

Thankfully Matt Kuchar got us one win. Here’s that betting slip:

Made it a break even week in the Byron Nelson.

Let’s get to this weeks tips:

BMW PGA Championship Betting Predictions:

It was a year ago I correctly predicted the 55/1 Miguel Angel Jimenez would get top 5 in this tournament, and that was a nice one to win.

I’m actually only doing a couple of small bets on the BMW PGA Championship this week. There’s a lot of contenders and it’s very, very tight.

The first one is of course Miguel Angel Jimenez. I’m only placing a quarter unit on him – there’s no real reason for me betting him other than his win for us last year.

However I’m doing Francesco Molinari and betting a half unit on him. He’s coming into this on the back of a few good performances and he always performs well at this course. I’m also doing a quarter unit bet on Martin Kaymer. He hasn’t been anything great at the BMW PGA Championship over the years but he still is a top contender and I’ve really liked what I’ve seen from him lately.

All of those are to win and each way.

The Colonial Betting Predictions:

Okay so it’s actually the Dean & DeLuca Invitational. Blah. Other than the Invitational part it’s a stupid name and we all know it’s the Colonel anyway.

Let’s get crazy with a bet on Jordan Spieth to win. Are we crazy? Most possibly. But you know what? I have a good feeling about Spieth this week. We know that he is one of, if not the best golfers out there and this is a course he has performed well at before. He’s obviously had his issues the last few weeks but I can really see him doing something special this week and feel comfortable backing him.

I’m also doing a half unit on Chris Kirk which will be my usual win and E/W bet. Kirk has had some great performances lately and I’ve been very impressed with him and I think he can follow it up here at a course he has perofmred well at.

Finally two really risky bets that if they don’t pay out I am happy with. David Toms at 150/1 and Ben Crane at 200/1. Yeah these guys probably won’t be anywhere but both stuck out to me due to solid form on this course and some rather consistent form coming into it.

No LPGA or Champions Tour betting tips this week. Just not feeling them at the moment. Maybe in July.
