A nice little run I am on with the golf betting tips.
Two weeks ago I was able to correctly pick Molinari to win the Open. If you followed the tips last week then you were delivered another tournament winner, as I picked Dustin Johnson to win the RBC Canadian Open.
It was an exceptional performance from DJ. He’s one of those golfers who it doesn’t seem even have to try and that’s a rare breed. Like when Spieth plays his A game he’s unstoppable. If Rory puts the effort in, he’s unstoppable.
But for DJ it’s like hey just show up and win. Simple as that.
Here’s the betting slip from that win:
This week we’ve got the WGC Bridgestone and I’ll cover a couple of other tournaments too.
A lot of hype for Tiger in this one but honestly I don’t think he’ll perform well. Just a feeling I have that this one he won’t do well in.
Golf Betting Picks:
In the Bridgestone, I’m backing Rory McIlroy to win it. After watching him at the Open it just felt sometime within the next couple of weeks he’ll bag one. Not I am not betting him blindly – I took the time to look at his data first and I have to say I’m comfortable with it and think he could do it.
I’m also on Justin Rose to win & Top 5. This isn’t a course where form is consistent and that’s good as Rose is both hot and cold here. I think he’s coming in well here and could pull it off.
Henrik Stenson to win & Top 5 is another one I am going with. It’s hard not to go with him week in, week out as his metrics are great. Have to think at some point he takes it down and each week his price is well worth it.
I’ve got outsider bets too. Small bets on Zach Johnson, Xander Schauffele, Emiliano Grillo and Kevin Chappell. All of them are higher odds picks and are to win & Top %.
The Barracuda Championship breeds high odds winners so I’ve went for speculative picks on that one all at big odds. To win & Top 5 we’ve got Hunter Mahan, Rickie Barnes, Ben Crane, Parker McLachlin and Zac Blair.
Over in the LPGA Women’s British Open I am backing Amy Yang, Carlota Ciganada and In-Kyung Kim. All of their odds are good enough to split the bet to win and top 5.
CFL Week 8 Betting Tips:
It was a winning week last week with my CFL Bets as I went 2-1. Hope you were on them.
Johnny Football is apparently finally playing I cannot wait. I think he will do a great job but I think the Ticats offense will come to play. I’m going with Over 49.5 Points in that one.
I’m a bit nervous of the point spread but Stampeders do seem to be a tier above everyone else still so I’ll go with Stampeders -11.
I like what Ottawa have been doing and the Argos are a mess. Have to go with Redblacks -4.5.
Finally I’m taking Riders +9 as I think they can at least keep that one close.
