A fantastic night of darts not just for the betting, but also for the action. They hyped Hankey versus Taylor lived up to the billing. Unbelievable drama for a best of 9 match and I was on the edge of my seat all the way through.

Anyway, thanks to Hankey’s win, we end up with a night going 3-2, putting us 12-9 for the tournament, which we’re exceptionally pleased with.

So, where do we stand in terms of profit so far? Well, a great question!

Another brilliant day and the profit just keeps on coming in. I’m going to make sure we all have a great Christmas.

Anyway, let’s get to the tips.

I want to mention the bookmakers that will give you some free money for depositing there. Is there anything better than free money? Well, more free money. So, use my tips along with these free sign-up offers and we’ll keep the great run going!

First off, Betfair. If you’ve not got an account with Betfair, why not? More often than not, they have the best prices and, thanks to the ability to back or lay a selection, you can bet in-play with ease and also lay your bet back should you think the tide is about to turn for your player. It’s where serious bettors bet and if you’re serious about darts betting, you NEED an account here. Plus you get a free bet up to £25, which is always nice.

I want to introduce our friends at Paddy Power They’re big supporters of darts and they’ll give you a £10 bet when you sign up through Darts Betting Tips. They have great money-back specials on all sorts of markets and are perhaps the most fun bookmaker out there.

Victor Chandler as a well established name in sports betting and they really get behind the great sport of darts. They’ll give you up to a £100 free sports bet, as well as casino chips is you sign up there. There’s not a better offer available and I’ve taken advantage of this for tonight’s tips, and I think you should too. Hey, if the tips win, great, but if, for some strange reason, they don’t, you’ve lost nothing!

Boylesports are another great bookmaker for darts. They have a huge variety of markets and they have a nice £20 deposit bonus. You deposit and bet £20, they match it. Simples!

are big supporters of darts. We find their markets to be amongst the best when it comes to darts betting, which is why we proudly support them. Plus, their £25 match bet is a fantastic offer, probably the best out there at the moment. So, why not sign up, deposit and have a nibble on our first tip of the night and Stan James will match it:

Seriously, if you don’t have accounts at any of these bookmakers, sign up, deposit and use your free bet to have a dabble on tonight’s tips. Now that that’s out of the way and you’ve got your free bets, let’s get the tips going.

Tony O’Shea vs Justin Pipe

O’Shea has been in fantastic form for the second Grand Slam of Darts running, while Justin Pipe can feel a bit unfortunate not to have a win in his two games. That being said, O’Shea is a warm favourite with me and also with the bookies. He should come through, but he’s unbackable at the prices on offer.

Recommend: No bet.

Simon Whitlock vs Robert Thornton:

Whitlock is out, while Thornton has been a revelation this week. The bookies have priced this up a bit strange, with Whitlock very, very short to win. I can’t have this, with the way Whitlock has been playing. Thornton has been looking classy and I can see him taking Whitlock.

Robert Thornton to beat Simon Whitlock: 9/4 @ Boylesports

Recommend: 1 unit @ 9/4

Terry Jenkins vs Stacy Bromberg:

Jenkins has been scoring heavily and he’ll have far too much for Bromberg. Bromberg acquitted herself well against John Henderson, but Henderson played shocking in parts, allowing Bromberg to get on the board with two legs. But Jenkins will have far too much. If you have several thousand to spare, get on at 1/41, but let’s just leave it be.

Recommend: No bet.

Wayne Jones vs Mark Hylton:

The hometown boy will want to qualify for the next round with a win over Mark Hylton. Hylton didn’t embarrass himself against Mark Webster, but his game just isn’t in the league of players like Jones. Jones will use the crowd to his advantage and get through to the next round unscathed. But 1/4 isn’t tempting, to be brutally honest.

Recommend: No bet.

Mervyn King vs John Henderson:

Out of all the BDO boys, John Henderson has just found things a bit too tough. The rest of them seemed to have scored heavily, played well and shown a lot of strength that people didn’t think the BDO had. Mervyn King has been playing well without doing too much and his win over Terry Jenkins proved that. King should win this and win this well.

Recommend: No bet.

Gary Anderson vs Mark Webster:

Two played who came to the PDC at the same time from the BDO and it was Webster who made the better start. Since then, Anderson has cranked it up a gear and will no doubt be looking to get into the top five in the world sooner rather than later. This is the perfect platform for him and although he’s qualified, I think he’s going to want to get through with maximum points. Webster has played decent enough, but Anderson’s scoring should see him through.

Gary Anderson to beat Mark Webster: 1/2 @ Boylesports

Recommend: 4 units @ 1/2

Dave Chisnall vs Colin Osborne: Chisnall has looked good in his two games and Osborne hasn’t looked all that convincing. Chisnall’s scoring saw him through against an out of sorts Simon Whitlock and both men know they need a win. I think Chisnall has just a bit more in his locker to see him through and he’s a decent price.

Dave Chisnall to beat Colin Osborne: 5/6 @

Paddy Power

Recommend: 3 units @ 5/6

James Wade vs Vincent van der Voort:

James Wade needs to win this match to stay in the tournament. The world number two hasn’t looked great, while VDV has looked in good nick in his one win and one defeat. That being said, Wade is a player for the big occasion and this might just be his time to shine. He’s a notoriously slow starter, but I expect him to do the business.

Recommend: No bet.

Not many bets tonight, but the matches do seem a bit one-sided on paper. However, I really like the bets I’ve picked and I’m sure we can get right back on track with these selections.

Remember, if you’re looking for the consistently best prices, head on over to Betfair, where you can back and lay all the darts matches you want and, most importantly, bet in-running!

So, enjoy the darts and, as always, happy betting!
