Grand Slam of Darts 2013 Day Two Premium Picks.
What a great day of darts yesterday. While we didn’t get many shocks in the 16 matches, we had some great games and some fantastic performances. While you might not get much entertainment out of a 5-0 destruction, there was no denying that watching Phil Taylor in that kind of form is magnificent. It was darting perfection last night from The Power, followed closely by the magnificent Gary Anderson.
Today, two more sessions, with Saturday’s winner taking on each other, and the losers facing off. So we’ve got some tasty matches in store, with Raymond van Barneveld and Tony O’Shea looking like a barnstormer, and not forgetting James Wade taking on Gary Anderson. The one downside is that we’re only playing the short format, with the best of 9 not giving any room for error for the players. Dave Chisnall is one man that can attest to that. But mostly the class prevailed yesterday, and I have a bit of a feeling it might do so again today.
