Well, what can I say? James Wade trowing for the match and gets his throw disrupted by the crowd every time he’s about to throw a dart. When Wade claims it’s poor form because he’s trying to earn a crust, the same can be said for us. We try to eek out a win and the crowd ruin it for us. We hit the bar twice and got one convincing winner. We’ve got to put that behind us and move onwards and upwards for the Grand Slam of Darts quarter-final matches. So, without further ado, here are our picks for the first two quarter-finals to be priced up by the bookies.
Tony O’Shea +8.5 legs vs Phil Taylor: 11/10 @ Ladbrokes.
Recommend: 2 units @ 11/10.
Kevin Painter to beat Raymond van Barneveld: 2/1 @ Blue Square.
Recommend: 2 units @ 2/1.
We’ll be back tomorrow afternoon once the bookies have priced up the two other semi-finals and we get a chance to have a proper look at them, but these are two solid picks for the evening session. We’ll have our picks for the first set of matches up in good time before they start at 1:00pm on Saturday, so check back soon for those.
Hope you’re enjoying the darts and happy betting!
