A 1-1 day on Sunday.
We had Everton to get the win against Man Utd. Everon struck first blood but Man Utd pulled it back to 1-1. That was quite a fun game with a lot of great attempts. Some late drama as well with a late ogal chopped off. And man De Gea. Oh man that poor lad. Just taking pelters in the media.
We won with Roma beating Cagliari. A thriller of a game and loved the fight from Roma here. They won 4-3 in a hell of a thriller that went all the way down to the wire.
Tomorrow I’ll cover the Champions League games taking place but for now we’ll have a look at the games taking place on Monday.
I was having a quick glance at the odds and felt there was a worthwhile play in the Hibs vs Hearts game taking place in the Scottish Premier League.
Let’s focus on that:
Hibs vs Hearts Betting Tips:
Hibs are currently 6th in the league and looking good for the top 6. Hearts are bottom and still battling relegation.
Surprisingly, Hibs despite being favourites aren’t heavily favoured. That one caught my eye as it was quite the surprise. I know it’s a derby game and all, and Hearts are feeling desperate – but I mean Hibs through and through are just the better team.
Hibs come into this on the back of a 3 game unbeaten streak. Their home form is solid enough with a 5-7-2 record. They score 1.79 goals on average at home although they do concede a fair bit.
Hearts are playing…..slightly better I guess. They haven’t won away on 10 games. That says it all doesn’t it? They picked up that random win against Rangers but have really not showed much. They did beat us again on the weekend. But it’s a diddy cup anyway.
Hibs had a thrilling 5-2 win over Inverness Caley on Friday and will be slightly more rested.
While Hearts are fighting relegation, Hibs are pushing for a chance at getting in Europe. They’ve played some great football going into this one with their results against Killie and Ross County.
They do tend to draw a fair bit but I think feeling confident enough, they’ll take this one.
It’s tempting with their goals conceded and defensive ratio to back the over here or both teams to score. However Hearts scoring rate away is just brutal. 0.69 goals per matches, have only scored in both halves 8% of the time etc. They’ve had a lot of games go over awah but that’s due to getting battered haha.
Gotta think Hibs walk all over them here and pull ahead of Livingston while closing the gap against Motherwell and Aberdeen.
