A 2-0 day on the 28th.
I debated long and hard on that Norwich/Spurs bet and was so close to taking “Spurs to win & BTTS”. I decided to go with over 3.5 goals instead and a late Harry Kane penalty got us that one as they drew.
I also backed Brendon Rodgers to turn things around for Leicester and they did with a solid 2-1 victory away to West Ham. Quite a few players missing from that Leicester team so was nice to see them get the win.
What an Old Firm match today. Great to see Rangers win. Would have been nice if Morelos had managed to get a goal but he was stellar all over the pitch anyway. I like to think that his inability to score against Celtic just spurs him on more.
Not too many games coming up over the next few days so I’ll look ahead to the New Years Day games taking place. We’ll look at the English Championship today:
Birmingham vs Wigan Betting Tips:
I’m glad I have been paying more attention to the English Championship lately because man that meant I got to watch that cracker of a match between Birmingham and Leeds.
It was a super fun game with a hell of an ending.
It leaves Birmingham in a bad spot however. They have now gone 5 games without a win with only a draw against Blackburn in there. They are lurking dangerously close to relegation although still have a good little point bump ahead of the actual zone.
Now they face Wigan who are bottom of the Championship but performing better lately. A lot of hard earned points in the form of draws. They have their losses but they are tight ones like Forest just beating them 1-0.
I think Birmingham get back on track here. They have went 5 games without a win at home but this is a good spot. They got the goals against Leeds and will feel confident offensively. Wigan are on a bad run and this is just a very good spot for Birmingham.

Huddersfield vs Stoke Betting Tips:
Both teams are in the bottom half of the table. Stoke are in 21st while Huddersfield are 19th.
It’s a tough time for teams with injuries and Stoke have quite a few players who aren’t fully fit or just plain injured. Ryan Shawcross has a calf strain. Stephen Ward is still struggling. James McClean has hamstring issues.
Huddersfield have had a decent string of results lately with 3 wins and a draw in their last 5 games.
I like Huddersfield to continue some solid home form here. Stoke are not a good away team. Huddersfield have been looking better lately and I think can pip Stoke by a goal here.
