It’s Saturday…and really, we’re more excited for Sunday!
I mean really we have two huge NFL Playoff games to determine the teams that will play in the Super Bowl. We also have Royal Rumble at night – yes we’re nerds who like wrestling. What of it?
But hey we still have sports today to deal with. So let’s get to them:
English Premier League Betting Tips:
We’re going to take Newcastle to beat Watford at 14/5 odds. Watford are coming into this one on a bad run of form having lost their last 4 league games. Newcastle are coming into this game off the back of a big win over West Ham. On top of that these two teams just played recently in the cup, and although Watford won – it was a match they didn’t really deserve to win. Newcastle will be up for this game, motivated and feeling confident that they can handle Watford.
We’ll also take Leicester to beat Stoke because Leicester for some reason are still not getting the credit they deserve. Yes they lost to Spurs and drew with Villa and are on somewhat of a bad patch – but they are anxious to get back to winning form and possibly take over at the top of the table again and this is a big game that they will be up for. Take Leicester to get the win at a very nice price.
Also have to take Man Utd to beat Southampton. This won’t be easy for United but the odds for this one are just too good to ignore. Southampton on the road are extremely poor with just 2 wins in 10 games this season. That’s absolutely brutal. With Man Utd the only real concern is they can’t find the back of the net – but they’ve looked better recently and hopefully can break down Soton.
We’re also on Tottenham over Palace. A nice price of 23/20 for Spurs who have only lost once away all season. They’re very inconsistent and this one could easily be a draw – but Palace can’t seem to perform at home. One of those things where they can usually dominate a team via counter attack but when it comes to controlling the game – no chance.
On Sunday, we absolutely have to take Arsenal to beat Chelsea. I mean my god what the heck are the odds there at 11/10 for. We know the history etc but Arsenal look a very good team this season while Chelsea are just an absolute disaster and even with Mourinho gone it looks like they’re clinging on like a band-aid.
Scottish Premier League Betting Tips:
After the way they destroyed Hamilton you have to expect more from Celtic on Saturday and we’ll be taking Celtic -1.5 expecting them to win this one by at the very least 2 goals.
On the Sunday we’ll take Hearts to bet Hamilton. Hearts have made a good surge to get in the top 3 and Hamilton have dropped so many points lately it’s crazy.
Also have to take Over 2.5 goals in Dundee Utd vs Kilmarnock as this game proves to be a very scrappy affair with both teams fighting for their lives. Dundee Utd know just how important a game this is and it’s must-win or their season is over.
