For Saturday I looked at the Serie A Action and with 5 games going on in Serie A on Sunday, I figure I’ll look at it all again.
There is only one game with a real heavy favourite with the Juventus vs Bologna game. All the others are generally up for grabs.
It all kickstarts at 630am EST on Sunday which is nice. I’m an early riser – and even though I’ll be up late for the McGregor fight my body clock will still wake me up at like 5am. So it’s not too bad – I’ll maybe try and sleep in a little bit longer and then stumble to the couch and relax there watching the Juve game.
Let’s dive right into them:
Serie A Bets: Jan 24, 2021
Juventus vs Bologna:
Juve will have a much needed confidence boost no doubt after winning the Supercoppa Italiana. Now they need to get back in track on the league. They’re currently in 6th place after that massive loss to Inter as their domination seems to be coming to an end.
I think with Bologna my main issue is they just feel so uninspired. Can’t see them pulling off an upset here. They could maybe squeak a draw but I don’t see it. I think Juve are all over them here.
Genoa vs Cagliari:
2.25 for Genoa here. Not a bad price. Cagliari are struggling hard here. I do think they can make a game of it. But I like what Ballardini is doing at Genoa.
Destro on fire too. See no real reason not to back Genoa here. Surely Di Francesco is gone if they lose here. 2u on Genoa 2.25..
Verona vs Napoli:
Verona are no pushover. Napoli are of course the better team but I could see Verona maybe snagging a draw here. Napoli may be on a low after midweek. Or beaten up after Gattuso laid into them. Could be a very tight defensive game. I’m good with 1u on Under 2.5 goals at 1.90 odds.
Lazio vs Sassuolo:
Both teams very tight in the league table but I just din’t think Sassuolo will be able to get it done. Lazio are performing very well. Going to do a 0.5u double play on Juventus and Lazio.
Parma vs Sampdoria:
No bet. Sampdoria have a good wee opportunity here but I just don’t have the confidence in them.
