We’re already counting the days until Thursday, when the entire SportsBettingTips.org team packs up our bags and heads across the country to Las Vegas for the weekend.
We are going there as part of an annual tradition – UFC, and the Superbowl!
Don’t worry though – we will continue to have tips for you during that time period, leading up to the big one which takes place this Sunday. Very, very excited about that. We’re still fairly split at the office at the moment on who is taking the game, but the Brady folks are starting to win out. Although that’s less about analysis, and more “he’s due”.
Before that, we have a lot of sports tips for you. Golf is of course back and rocking, and the NHL is done from the all star break so we’re excited for that.
Let’s see what we can rustle up for January 27th, 2015:
NHL Betting Tips for January 27th:
First up we are going to take Flames -1.5. It’s hard not to, based on the way both teams were playing going into the all star break. The only concern really with Buffalo is that after the break they will be coming out with no pressure. They know their season is done with, and that can actually change a team for the better. However Flames have that playoff push to make, and we will stick with Calgary getting on track, and getting into the playoffs starting with a big win over the Buffalo Sabres.
We also are going to go with a very risky bet of Jets in regulation. Going into the All Star break, Jets were one of the most on-form teams. Penguins have been up and down form wise, and have a bit of a touch schedule with the Capitals next. Penguins are without BOTH Malkin and Crosby tonight which is huge, and they have quite a few injuries or players playing at less than 100%, despite the break. So let’s take the Jets to continue their excellent form and dominate the Penguins, getting the big W over them tonight.
We’re also getting a great price of 1.80 on the Islanders and we’re going to take them to beat the new York Rangers. It is a concern that Islanders are without Okposo but they are not a one man team by ANY means. They’ve been on excellent form, and we think the Islanders are a good price here. We’ll take them with overtime/shootout included just to play it safe though – as much as we’d love to take the handicap for that much bigger price you just never know how big a loss a player will be for a team.
And we’ll stick with hockey for one final betting tip tonight. Dallas and Montreal we will go with a goal before 9:30 in that game. It has the potential to be a very high scoring game and Dallas will be fired up. We like there to be a very early, very quick goal in this one and will bet that there will be a goal in the first 10 minutes.
Good luck tonight.
