A 2-0 record last night.
We took the Rockets -4 over the 76ers last night and it came through for us. I had to go with this one because I have no faith in the three-point shooting of the 76ers and a game like this really highlights that. Well, that’s exactly what happened. Philly only made six threes for the entire game compared to Houston’s twelve. James Harden had one of his classic games that we’ve seen from him time and time again with 41 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists.
Our other tip was the Pelicans +10.5 at the Lakers and this one could not have been any closer. We thank the sportsbook for that 0.5 as the Lakers won this one 123-113. I pointed out Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball in the write-up and they combined for 45 points, but this one was all about Anthony Davis who had 46 points and 13 rebounds.
There are some NFL games today that a lot of people will be talking about, but there is a full slate of NBA tonight and we should be able to keep the winning ways going here. Let’s get to the tips.
San Antonio Spurs vs. Milwaukee Bucks Betting Tips:
This is very similar to what I saw last night with the Rockets and Sixers game. The Bucks have the top defense in the NBA and a top-3 offense, but I am looking at the three-point shooting again here. The Bucks are near the top of the league with 13.9 made threes per game while the Spurs rank dead last in three-point attempts and 29th out of 30 in makes per game.
That’s before we get into the whole deal where the Bucks defense is amazing and Giannis Antetokounmpo is amazing and the Bucks have a lot more bench depth. They are just better in every way, but the offense is what I am looking at here. They can make five or six more threes than their opponent which digs a real mathematical hole for their opponent. A hole that I don’t believe the Spurs will be able to get out of.

Toronto Raptors vs. Brooklyn Nets Betting Tips:
The Nets are desperate for a win here and the Raptors are dealing with some major injuries. That’s what I’m looking at here and that’s what I think this one will come down to.
Toronto will be without their best player in Pascal Siakam, a fiery bench scorer in Norman Powell, and Mr. Do-It-All in Marc Gasol. This is a great passing team, but that is a huge loss of playmaking in that crew and they will have a hard time scoring. We saw that in their last game out as they only managed 76 points at Miami.
Brooklyn has had their fair share of injuries as well, but both Caris LeVert and Garrett Temple are listed as probable tonight which will be a huge upgrade to their offense. They are returning home after a three-game road trip in which they did not win and I think that should highly motivate them in this one. Brooklyn to win outright.
