A 1-1 record last night.
The Pacers did end up beating the Bulls on a game winning Victor Oladipo three-pointer, but it just wasn’t enough to cover the spread. Indiana came out slow and lost the first quarter 30-18. They spent the rest of the game overcoming that deficit and even had a six point lead with minutes left in the fourth. What a tease.
Our win was a very easy win as the Celtics as they ran all over the Mavericks at home. Dallas is a joke on the road and Boston surely did prove it. No Kyrie Irving, no problem as nine players scored 8 or more points and Boston won by 21.
One game I wrote up that I should’ve went with was Milwaukee over Atlanta. I all but guaranteed a win by Milwaukee and they came out 43-14 in the first quarter. Wow. All twelve Milwaukee players who hit the floor scored at least 8 points. Total domination.
A full slate again tonight including a huge Bucks-Raptors game.
Memphis Grizzlies vs. San Antonio Spurs: I love the Spurs here, but -9 is crazy.
Golden State Warriors vs. Sacramento Kings: It’s a weird world when I think the Warriors -7.5 on the road against the Kings is too high. The Warriors are very capable of covering this spread, but they just haven’t been doing that lately.
Dallas Mavericks vs. Philadelphia 76ers Betting Tips:
This game combines two of my favorite trends right now: schedule alert games and Mavs on the road. This is the Mavericks’ fourth game in six days, their third game in four and the second half of a back-to-back set against two of the East’s best teams. I thought for a second this line might be too high, but with that schedule and the Mavs’ road woes I like it a lot. Dallas are now 3-17 on the road this season.
Philly has had a bit of drama with Jimmy Butler and coach Brett Brown, as Butler doesn’t like his fit. He’s listed as questionable for tonight which I am not too worried about. This team functions just fine with Joel Embiid leading the way and I always like him against another good center. He seems to thrive on it and DeAndre Jordan could be in for a hard night.

Toronto Raptors vs. Milwaukee Bucks Betting Tips:
Let’s go! This might be some bias on my part since I am going to be at this game, but I am really excited for the Bucks in this one. The Bucks have won nine of their past ten games and hold a 0.5 game lead over the Raptors for the top-seed in the East. I think that they are very aware of that and will play great tonight.
Kyle Lowry is listed as doubtful for the Raptors here and they’ve been sluggish of late, especially on the road. They are 1-5 in road games over their past six. A lot has been made about the flexibility of the Raptors, but without Lowry and Jonas Valunciunas on the mend they aren’t very. Milwaukee is a tough home team with a player that not even Kawhi Leonard has an answer for in Giannis Antetokounmpo, I think they are going to go off here.
