3 days in a row!
I think I am going to keep track of providing tips on a daily basis simply because it keeps me accountable.
On January 6th, we had a 1-1 day. We had Millwall vs Hull over 2.5 goals. That was a squeaky bum game as Hull took the lead after a goalless first half and I was getting worried. Shane Ferguson grabbed a double in the last ten minutes though to thankfully put that one over.
I said I felt I was clearly missing something with the Preston odds and I was as they lost 3-1 to Doncaster. Looking back at it though I think it was just one of those things. Preston mentally are probably more focused on getting their new signings in etc so weren’t as up for this game. Makes sense.
Let’s get on with the tips for January 8th, 2019:
Amiens vs Angers Betting Tips:
I’ve said it before – I hate tipping the draw – but there’s some games where I look at it and the stats and it just screams draw. Not that it screams it loud enough for it to actually happen – but one where I’d kick myself if I didn’t back it.
Both teams are in the relegation zone in Ligue 1 in France with Angers on 19 points with a game in hand over Amiens.
Neither team perform very well anywhere and they are both pretty evenly matched. The only real discrepancy is Amiens leak the goals more but they’re coming in off the back of a couple of good performances.
They haven’t drawn at home yet though. If you’re a correct score fan I almost see them sneaking that one at 10/1 for 2-1 but I’ll go with the draw.

Nantes vs Montepellier Betting Tips:
Absolutely love Nantes at home at the moment. Their form is pretty solid too. Yeah they have had two losses recently but both were away against the two top home teams in the league in PSG and Saint-Etienne.
They got a hard fought win over Marseille to bounce back from that Saint-Etienne loss and I think they can bounce back here.
Montpellier are a solid team and on the road are one of the best teams but I just think Nantes are currently the more on form team and can pull off an upset here.
What Montpellier have going for them is a sturdy defense but at home Nantes can unlock defenses.Emiliano Sala is in absolutely beast mode at the moment and I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t score.
