It’s a busy day on Saturday, July 13th in the MLS with 6 games taking place.
It all kickstarts early with the Montreal Impact vs Toronto FC. Montreal are currently 4th in the East with Toronto just outside the playoff spot in 8th at the moment.
A battle at the bottom with Chicago Fire vs Cincinnati, and an intriguing one between Minnesota United and FC Dallas.
I’m always a fan of the MLS. If you don’t watch it much you really should the quality is great and I find the crowds are always up for it.
Let’s get on with the MLS Betting Tips for Saturday July 13th:
Minnesota Utd vs Dallas Betting Tips:
Minnesota Utd were struggling with form for awhile but seem to have some self-confidence about them. Playing Cincinnati always helps with that. They thumped them 7-1, followed that up with a 3-1 win over San Jose and then beat Montreal 3-2. Mason Toye has been scoring for fun during that period.
Dallas don’t have the worst form at the moment with just one loss in their last 6 games but 4 of those have been at home. They seriously struggle away with just 2 wins in 9 games.
Minnesota meanwhile have been solid at home. Abu Danladi is questionable due to a hip injury and Romaine Metanire is on international duty. Dallas are missing John Nelson for this match.
Dallas just can’t seem to get it going away and with Minnesota looking confident, I think they take this one. The Minnesota offense is one of the best in the league and they’re very confident at the moment.

Real Salt Lake vs Philadelphia Union Betting Tips:
I hate backing the draw but I think this one has a good chance of being a draw.
Real Salt Lake are an excellent team at home no doubt but we’re seeing some struggles with them lately. Philadelphia are the top team in the East at the moment.
Real Salt Lake will be reeling from that last minute loss to the San Jose Earthquakes last weekend. That was brutal. They’ll be happy with a draw and defensively they are solid at home.
Philly are a fun team to watch. They score the goals but concede them too. I think they can get a goal against the Real Salt Lake defense, who have been quite solid lately, but that they’ll concede too.
BTTS is brutally low however at 1.57 so I’m going to take a shot with the draw.
