WWE is bringing us another pay-per-view this Sunday as they present Stomping Grounds from Tacoma, Washington. While this event isn’t exactly marquee and the name sounds like an ad for Lugz, we would be silly not to cover it here. Betting on WWE has been very profitable for us over the years and this event definitely offers some interesting betting opportunities.
The title scene in WWE right now is completely dominated by babyfaces. Seth Rollins, Kofi Kingston, Becky Lynch and Bayley are all babyfaces and established within the company. The thing that has my gears turning is that fact. That isn’t the way that WWE likes to do their storytelling. They always like to have the babyfaces chasing a heel for the title and it’s hard to imagine all four of these people sneaking out of the show with their titles intact. While I believe that Kofi Kingston is probably safe (sorry, Dolph), the rest are seemingly up for grabs. Throw in a Cruiserweight title match and it feels like we could see a few titles change hands on this night.
WWE Stomping Grounds Betting Tips:
Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin: This will be the main event of the show and the story here is that Corbin is being allowed to choose his own special guest referee for the match. That has screwjob written all over it and I expect why this line is so low. While Baron Corbin isn’t beloved by wrestling fans, he is one of the few people who gets a genuine hate reaction from fans and him with the title seems like something that would excite the WWE brass. Of course, that hate reaction he gets might be more “go away” than being good at his job but it’s often hard to tell the difference. The story is set up perfectly for Rollins to get screwed out of the title here and Baron Corbin +170 is a good value here.
Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley: These two had a feud a couple years ago that was completely dominated by Bliss and I could see them returning to that well here. Alexa Bliss is just one of those wrestlers that seemingly always has a title and Bayley is someone who never seems to have long reigns with them. Throw in the fact that Alexa is blonde and she’s in a good story with Nikki Cross right now, and I could see the title changing hands here. Bet Alexa Bliss +330.

CFL Betting Tips:
Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Toronto Argonauts: This is the first game for the Argonauts of the season, but it isn’t looking very promising. They are 0-4 over against the spread in their last four games and 0-7 against the spread against teams from the East conference. They just weren’t a good team last season and I don’t see things getting much better here. Hamilton is 1-0 on the season and looked very impressive, while they also dominated Toronto last season.
