We had a miss with NASCAR on Saturday, but we probably should’ve just doubled down on those tips for Sunday. The odds weren’t up for Sunday when I posted those, but Denny Hamlin (who we picked for Saturday) ended up winning on Sunday. Honestly, I proudly should’ve just said that because the track based predictions would apply to both races.
The NBA has set their schedule and the season will kick off on July 30th. That is still a long ways away and things could change between now and then, but the schedule is set and the match-ups are in. We’ve also seen the release of some NBA Finals props including the exact match. Here’s the only ones that I would consider even looking at:
- Milwaukee Bucks Vs Los Angeles Lakers +300
- Milwaukee Bucks Vs Los Angeles Clippers +350
- Boston Celtics Vs Los Angeles Lakers +1600
- Boston Celtics Vs Los Angeles Clippers +2000
- Toronto Raptors Vs Los Angeles Clippers +2000
- Toronto Raptors Vs Los Angeles Lakers +2000
- Philadelphia 76ers Vs Los Angeles Lakers +2500
- Philadelphia 76ers Vs Los Angeles Clippers +2600
The best bet for my money has to be the chalk. The NBA is a league where the top teams in each league almost always go through to make the Finals. The Lakers are right there with the Clippers in the West so it’s really a coin-flip between those two teams, but this just feels like the year of LeBron. This could be his last, great chance at winning a championship and I think he’s going to be really locked in. That’s a judgement call on my part, but there is no way that the Lakers or Clippers aren’t in the Finals.
I personally don’t see how you can go against the Bucks either. Giannis is the best player in the NBA right now and he’s definitely the best defensive player in the NBA. Him in the middle with shooting all around him is very dangerous. I can see the Raptors or 76ers slowing the game down and trying to play a different style and it’ll be up to the Bucks to make those adjustments. I’m just thinking that they learned that lesson last year and the Raps without Kawhi are a different animal. The 76ers are a team that I just don’t trust. It’s going to be the Bucks.
English Premier League Betting Tips:
Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Manchester United: Based on the current standings, Man U is 5th while Brighton is all the way down at 15th. This may shock you, but Manchester United is the favorite here.
Brighton is looking towards relegation with just one win in their past eight matches. They are home here, but as we’ve seen throughout soccer – home field doesn’t mean a whole bunch with no fans. Brighton has a 5-4-6 record at home on the year so it’s not like they were killing teams before all this started.
Manchester United is in a good position to qualify for a spot in the Champions League and should be fully motivated to go for that here. To get there, they need to win and keep winning. They’ve done just that with 6 wins and 2 draws over their past eight games. I think they have a good chance to continue that run here. They won big in the last match-up between these two teams. They have lost twice at Brighton, but I don’t think that is going to matter much here without the home field.
