I must admit I find it hard to get enthused at this point of the season as much as I’d like. I’m really just looking forward to the Euros at this stage.
I always have so much fun covering the Euros. We’ve got juist over a month until it. I love analyzing so much stuff from it. Top Team Goalscorer is my favourite bet to analyze where I go through each team and pick the top team goalscorer. One of my favourite bets to track as well.
I remember for Euro 2012 getting the 8/1 Dzagoev to be top scorer for Russia. That’s one that always felt good coming in.
Anyway a few games in La Liga on Friday and Saturday let’s look at them:
Real Sociedad vs Elche:
Neither team coming in performing well. Real Sociedad should win. Elche however are battling to get out of relegation and stay safe this year. This is a good spot for Sociedad to get a commanding win. Especially based on previous result and home/away form.
No bet here as odds don’t justify it.
Alaves vs Levante:
Another team battling relegation is Alaves and this is a winnable game for them against Levante, who are just 7 points above them. Alaves are a much better home team then on the road. These two drew 1-1 last time.
Javier Calleja looks to have changed things around and I love the way they are playing – even after that Elbar game.
1u on Alaves at 2.10 odds
Barcelona vs Atletico:
The big bloody game. Both teams at the top. Atletico Madrid got the win last time.
Atletico Madrid are stuttering somewhat.
Barcelona are not a team this season that I think can fully bring it or rely on but this one is 100% do or die for them in my opinion.
I can’t separate these teams. It’s just so tight and I can see a draw and allowing Real Madrid to move right up there. 0.5u on the Draw at 3.75 odds.
Cadiz vs Huesca:
Love the Great Huescape. Huesca fighting hard here man. The odds surprise me for this one. I know Cadiz are without quite a few players and Huesca are trying their damndest to fight but 1u on Cadiz or Draw at 1.66.
Atletic Bilboa vs Osasuna:
I lean Bilboa but one of those games where nothing matters and it’s hard to bet with confidence especially with Bilboa missing so many players.
