Well with me having a look at the La Liga on Friday and Saturday, I figure I’ll continue that with a look at Sundays games.
I didn’t have a tip on Real Sociedad. I did expect them to get a commanding win and it was a solid 2-0 win although it helped that Elche got sent down to 10 men very early on.
Let’s look at the games taking place on Sunday:
Getafe vs Eibar:
A key game for Getafe as they look to drive away from the relegation zone. Eibar got a big 3-0 win over Alaves to really help them stay alive but man it’s not looking good for them.
Seems like a tight game. Eibar will be happy to have Recio back although with the way Atienza and Diop played I’d probably look at starting those two.
I think Getafe will get the win despite their recent form. 1u on Getafe at 2.20 odds.
Valencia vs Real Valladolid:
Valencia are likely safe from relegation but a lot could still go wrong. A tight relegation battle between two of the most out of form teams in the league.
Valladolid have been draw specialists lately. Both teams getting on the scoresheet and conceding lately. I’m good with 2u on Both Teams to Score at 1.90 odds
Villarreal vs Celta Vigo:
Villarreal look to possibly grab 5th place as they have a game in hand over Real Sociedad, so this would help. Ceta Vigo best they can likely do is top 8. Villarreal come in on a high obviously.
I actually think Celta Vigo might pull off a slight upset here. Alas the last result between the two, home/away form etc puts me off. Celta or Draw is tempting but not enough.
Real Madrid vs Sevilla:
Disappointing performance from Real Madrid in midweek. I’m almost biased I think as I find myself cheering them on this season at this stage.
