A winning day yesterday in the Bundesliga due to unit sizing as we went 1-1. We won with the Total Goals Over 2.5 and BTTS in the Frankfurt vs Hertha Berlin match. That was a 5 goal thriller and we only had to wait till the hour mark for our bet to come up.
The red card Hertha picked up opened that match up in a big way.
We had Paderborn DNB against Werder Bremen alas Paderborn succumbed to Bremen in a 5-1 thrashing. Paderborn actually dominated possession and had 20 goal attempts there so the result was a bit unfortunate.
Bremen did deserve the win though.
Started off good today with Augsburg defeating Mainz as well which was nice. One goal in the opening minute and that was it.
Monday we’ve got two La Liga games. Tuesday we’ve got a good list of Bundesliga games and some La Liga. Then Wednesday the EPL returns. Bloody hell I can’t wait.
Let’s look at the La Liga games taking place tomorrow as there’s decent odds on them:
Levante vs Sevilla Betting Tips:
Sevilla are 1.60 favourites to beat Levante here. Sevilla are currently in third place in La Liga and Levante are mid table. Levante generally don’t have much to play for.
Levante had that late goal against Valencia that cost us in the last game. Sevilla post break got a solid 2-0 win over Real Betis.
These two teams played earlier in the season with Sevilla at home and Sevilla ran out 1-0 winners.
It’s hard to see beyond a Sevilla victory here alas the 1.60 odds are generally lower than what I like to back. I will usually bet at 1.70 or above and occasionally I’ll dip to as low as 1.68. However that seems a bit low for me.
Levante may have struggled to score against Valencia but overall they have a solid xG. They create the chances and aren’t too bad at putting them in the net. They have one of the worst defenses in the league in terms of xGA while Sevilla are right up there.
I’m conflicted on whether to bet Sevilla to win -1 or by Sevilla to win to nil. Looking more into the stats Sevilla are pretty solid with clean sheets and winning to nil.
I could also argue for under 2.5 goals at 2.20 odds.
End of the day I don’t see a play to back even on a casual basis here. Sorry lads no bet for me here. If I was I’d probably do Sevilla to win to nil.
Real Betis vs Granada Betting Tips:
Betis got off to a bad start with a 2-0 loss. Sevilla beat them 2-0. Granada meanwhile got a solid 2-1 win over Getafe and it was well deserved.
Both teams are mid-table with Granada more to play for. Betis have serious defensive issues and that’s the main difference between the teams.
I backed Sevilla in a big way against Betis and while Granada aren’t as good I am surprised Betis are such favourites here. Granada are brutal away but I mean that hasn’t really been a factor.
I think it’s a nice little value play to bet against Betis here.
