A 1-0 record last night.
We went with the Nuggets over the Bucks last night thanks to schedule hell, but the Bucks managed to do all the work for us in this one. With Giannis Antetokounmpo out, the Bucks decided to rest Eric Bledsoe, Brook Lopez, and Khris Middleton as well. That put this game in not much doubt and made for an easy win for us.
The Lakers were looking like a good pick tonight, but LeBron James is listed as questionable for this one and I just don’t trust that team with a double digit spread without him. I still have two picks for tonight’s slate though including a strong two unit play.
The NBA is about to take a backseat in the basketball universe with the NCAA tournaments getting underway. Most of the conference tournaments have started or start over the next couple of days with main NCAA Tournament starting a week from today. Check out our March sports calendar for a complete schedule. We’ll have tips on that throughout the tournament.
Orlando Magic at Memphis Grizzlies Betting Tips:
I really don’t get the lines with this Grizzlies team. They are the 8th seed in the West right now and are fighting to keep it, but when they play a lower team like the Hawks or tonight’s game against the Magic, the lines are low with a lot of doubt built in. I don’t see why.
The Grizzlies are 20-12 on the season when playing a team with a losing record. They are 14-4 on the season as a favorite and 11-3 as a home favorite. Their opponent has a 4-17 record as an underdog on the season.
This line being under three is just silly as I love the match-up across the board for Memphis. The Magic are famously weak at point guard which could lead to a strong game for Ja Morant and the Grizzlies are my play of the day.

Los Angeles Clippers at Golden State Warriors Betting Tips:
The return of Stephen Curry has been a nice story and it’s nice to see one of the most exciting players in the game back and healthy. However, the Warriors still aren’t good and he’s listed as questionable for this one with Draymond Green out for this one as well.
That leaves this as a great spot for the Clippers to grab the win. This Warriors team has been very bad this season and without those stars, they should continue to be. Golden State has a 5-12 record against the spread as a home underdog of 6.5 to 12 points. That points to a team that is used to getting blown out and they have a 7-22 record as a home underdog on the season.
While the Clippers are a bit of an on/off switch team, they do have a 15-7 record as a road favorite on the season and are playing some of their best basketball of the season right now. They are 6-1 over their past seven games and I think tonight they are going to make it seven.
