That was quite the drama filled game Aston Villa had. What a mess. Seems these supporters running in is happening more and more. And we’ve got the Old Firm game coming up in a few weeks….that should be something.
Was thinking about that game too. Gerrard will probably have to send Morelos out in a strait jacket. Scott Brown surely knows his time is up so he’s going to go out with a bang no doubt. All in all – I think it’s going to be one of those mental Old Firm games we saw years ago.
Knew I should have taken Torino to win ha. Had them initially but the more I looked at it, the draw seemed so much more appealing. They went 1-0 down early and then tied it up alas Belotti scored in the 78th minute to take the game 2-1. Always frustrating losing those ones!!!
Big variety of games Monday so one of those days where I open up a bunch of them, glance at the stats then make some picks based on that:
Roma vs Empoli Betting Tips:
Roma are coming off that crushing loss to Lazio and will want to get back on track. This is a great opportunity to do so. They’re currently 4th in the Serie A and it is very tight at the top.
Empoli are battling relegation but it seems to be at home where they can do that, and not away. Lazio beat them 1-0 and AC Milan thrashed them 3-0. They are yet to win on the road this year with just 4 draws in 12 games.
Roma don’t have the best history of covering the handicap but I’ve got to think they will be focused going into this one.

St. Mirren vs Kilmarnock Betting Tips:
This is a very risky one as quality wise, Kilmarnock are leaps and bounds above St. Mirren. Form wise however going into this one – that’s not the case.
Killie are lacking in confidence at the moment. Their attack has deserted them and they’ve went three games in the SPL without scoring.
St Mirren meanwhile seem to be taking the relegation battle seriously. They got two hard fought draws at Hearts and Aberdeen and followed that up last week with a 1-0 win over Livingston.
Like I said – quality wise, Killie are leaps and bounds above them. But with the way things are going at the moment it wouldn’t be a shock if St. Mirren are able to give them competition.
