A 1-1 record last night.

The Grizzlies were a big play last night and in the first half, they looked like they deserved to be. They had a 13-point lead at halftime that they proceeded to blow in the second half. They let the Magic, one of the worst offenses in the league, outscore them 70-52 in the second half to take the loss. The Magic had a huge free throw differential in this one which played a big part in their comeback.

We did get the win with the Clippers at the Warriors and this one was a blow out. This one was all Clippers and there is nothing much exciting that happened in it. Kawhi Leonard lead the way with 23 points in only 25 minutes. Seven Clippers ended up scoring in double figures in this one.

It’s a very interesting time in the NBA as the idea of games being played without fans is becoming more real by the day. It’s pretty crazy to think that some fans have been waiting for a team like the Bucks or Clippers to win the championship for a long time, but they might see that dream fulfilled with no fans in the crowd. There is a lot of time between now and June so anything can happen, but that’s just an interesting thing to think about.

Utah Jazz at Oklahoma City Thunder Betting Tips:

I don’t do too many unders around here, but this one feels like a good chance to grab one. Both of these teams like to play with a slower pace and let their defense grind it out. When they have played each other, that’s exactly how those games have played out with both games that these two teams have played against each other going under the posted total.

The Jazz have posted unders in three of their past four games while the Thunder have went under in three of their past five. The common denominator in the overs is Detroit who both teams beat up on and likely didn’t play their hardest on defense. That won’t be the case here tonight as these two teams are in a tight playoff battle.

New Orleans Pelicans at Sacramento Kings Betting Tips:

It’s Zion’s world and we’re all just living in it.

Despite being four games behind the Grizzlies in the standings, the Pelicans have the far better playoff odds at 60%. A big part of that is the schedule in that they can control their own destiny with games like tonight against the Kings.

The Kings have played to expectations when playing a good team as they have a 16-27 record as an underdog on the year. The home court advantage thing isn’t really sticking out to me either as they have just a 14-17 record in home games this season.

New Orleans needs to make a run if they are going to do this and they’ve started that by winning their last two games. The Pelicans beat the Kings earlier this season in Sacramento and I can see them doing it again here as this team is much better than it was in January. They are without JJ Redick, but Zion and company seem to get better and better each game.
