We had Chelsea to score in the first half at 2.00 odds. That one we just had to wait 5 minutes as Giroud scored early on and that was all she wrote.

We lost with our play on Valencia to win. That was a tight game and they went 1-0 down in the 85th minute only to tie it. That was a gutting one.

Fun day overall and glad I didn’t back Inter to go through as it was tempting.

Been having fun with the Serie A bets lately and I’ll stick to that this weekend. Let’s check out the Serie A bets for the weekend of March 16th-17th, 2019:

Sassuolo vs Sampdoria Betting Tips:

I went into this one hoping to back Sassuolo. Just one of those where when I look at everything, I get the vibe that Sassuolo are able to take the win.

2.37 odds is tempting but the fact is they are on a bad run without a win. 6 games without a win. They’re really struggling to score.

Then I thought about the draw. It’s possible. However I wasn’t too confident if one team scores. If Sampdoria or Sassuolo go up 1-0 then I just am not sure the opposition has the ability to score. Neither team is really hammering it in at the moment.

So it makes sense to look at Under 2.5 goals instead, as the odds are nice enough and it seems like a 1-0, 1-1, 0-0 or 0-1 type of game.

So we’ll go with that.

Spal vs Roma Betting Tips:

We’re getting a nice price on Roma, who are a solid team on the road.

They got thumped away last time 3-0 to Lazio but have been performing well enough before that. Spal are struggling hard. The best they can generally muster up at home is a draw with 6 draws in 13 games.

Roma are pushing hard to recover after that Lazio loss. SPAL are battling relegation but not doing a great job of it at all. They’ve really did nothing to convince me that they’re going to be able to escape relegation with Empoli and Bologna on their heels.

Gotta take Roma here.

Torino vs Bologna Betting Tips:

We’re getting 2.00 odds on Torino to win which seems suspiciously high.

The top half of Serie A is very competitive and Torino have a lot to play for with Atalanta currently tied with them on points. They can still catch Roma too and with Inter Milan stumbling a bit it’s possible they’ll catch them too. I think top 3 is out of their grasp but 4th place is still up for grabs.

Bologna are another team battling relegation. To their credit they are being competitive but I think this is a tough one for them. They struggle away with just 1 win and 5 draws in 14 games.

Gotta go with Torino and their stellar defense to pile on the misery.
