My visits to Scotland to provide betting tips have proven popular each week, so here I am again to cover a couple of random games in the Scottish leagues.
It’s nice as growing up in Scotland I obviously paid attention to all the leagues. Living in Canada it’s easy to lose touch with it all. But by providing betting tips for them, it gets me right back into them.
Even though I haven’t really tipped League One or Two this season in Scotland – sticking to just the SPL and the Championship – I still find myself paying more attention to those leagues purely due to betting.
I looked through the Scottish Premier League today and not one appealing game. Hibs vs Motherwell was the only one I was remotely close to tipping. Either Hibs to win or Over 2.5 goals. But who knows. Just wasn’t confident enough.
I can’t tip it but having a look at Ayr vs Queen of the South – even though Queen of the South are on the worst form of the season at the moment – I just feel they pull off a surprise victory. 4.75 odds for that if you are up for burning money just on a feeling.
Falkirk vs Partick Thistle Betting Tips:
Partick Thistle are 2nd bottom in the relegation playoff spot. This is a massive game for them as they look to overcome Falkirk who are just one point above them.
I just don’t see it though.
Yes Thistle got that solid victory at home to Dundee Utd and their recent form has been good But so has Falkirks. No shame in losing 2-1 to the best team in the league. That was an impressive performance from them.
It’s possible they may not be able to pick themselves up from that but I see no reason that they can’t. They just have to get back to business as usual and I feel they are the better side. They’ve had some tremendous home results lately after breaking their home hoodoo.

Morton vs Alloa Betting Tips:
It’s tough betting against a team fighting for their life when you’re backing a team with really nothing to play for, but I think there’s value in Morton here.
Alloa are a weird team at the moment. They’ve put in some solid performances away. However at home they were an utter disaster losing all the key games.
They were able to go away and beat an out of form Queen of the South team and they’ll be hoping for more here.
Morton can be a tricky team though and actually have the 4th best home record in the league.
It’s going to take a big effort from Alloa to overcome them here even though they don’t have anything to play for in terms of the league. They still perform in front of their home fans.
