The coronavirus continues to wreak havoc on the sporting world as the cancellations continue. The National Spelling Bee is the latest hit as it won’t be held as scheduled. As of now, the Olympics are still on, but we are getting closer and closer to a time when a decision will need to be made there.
We’ve also seen a number of NBA players test positive for the virus. Kevin Durant, Marcus Smart, and two Lakers are some of the most recent to test positive. New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton has also tested positive. I’m no expert on this, but these cases to me are just proof that we need to practice social distancing now more than ever. This is highly contagious and if it can happen to Kevin Durant, it can happen to you. Stay safe out there.
Despite all that is going on, NFL free agency continues to roll on. The Buccaneers officially signed Tom Brady so that is happening. Tampa is releasing some new jerseys for next season so I’d wait a bit for buying your new Brady jersey. Uni Watch has some leaked photos of those jerseys you wanted to check them out.
Rams running back Todd Gurley was released and then signed by the Falcons on the very next day. Gurley was a University of Georgia running back so this is a homecoming of sorts. The Falcons also signed former Rams pass-rusher Dante Fowler Jr. so it looks like the NFC South is going to be highly competitive this season with the Rams, Saints, and Buccaneers all expected to be good.
The NFL still plans on holding the NFL Draft in April. I am hoping to find some betting props on that one before it hapepens.

NRL – Sydney Roosters vs Manly Sea Eagles Betting Tips:
This game takes place very late tonight/early tomorrow and it will be played against no fans.
Sydney came out hot in round one with a 12-point lead that they then squandered away against Penrith. That was a disappointing start for last year’s Premiership winner and they are looking to bounce back here. While Manly crumbled late in a tight game against Melbourne that was decided by three Storm tries.
Both of these teams need a win here and this is going to be interesting as they play on neutral territory with no fans. I think that is going to mess with the teams and I wonder if we are going to see a bit quieter and closer game than we might otherwise see. At first I was looking Manly +5.5, but they failed to cross the whitewash last week and I just don’t trust them to do that here.
The play I am looking at here is the under of 38.5 points. The Sea Eagles only managed four last week while Sydney only scored 18. With their recent play plus the unique field of play, I think they stay low scoring here.
