An 0-1 record last night.
I looked at this box score last night and just said to myself, “what the (bleep) happened?” The Magic lead this whole game and entered the fourth quarter with a 72-67 lead. The Cavs then had a fourth quarter like few we’ve seen this season. They went on a 17-0 run and ended up winning this one big. Cleveland shot 8-of-12 from the field, 7-of-10 from 3-point range and 17-of-19 from the free-throw line over the final 12 minutes. That is just ridiculous. There is a lot to this and the Magic should definitely receive some of the blame for this loss, but for a team to shoot that well from the field is just unthinkable. Ridiculous.
I wrote up the Bulls and Hawks last night, but didn’t pull the trigger on that over bet. Of course, they hit it easily. This win was especially impressive from the Hawks as Trae Young was ejected after just 18 minutes of play. That team is looking like they might be good sooner than later and the Luka Doncic trade no longer looks like the worst thing that ever happened.
Dallas Mavericks vs. Brooklyn Nets Betting Tips:
The Nets come into this one having lost three straight and they find themselves in need of a win here. They are currently holding onto the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference, but they’ve already been passed by the Pistons and have the Magic right on their tail. Both teams are playing well and the Nets need to right the ship here.
The Mavericks are 6-24 on the road this season and have a 3-21 record (straight up) as a road underdog. The trade for Kristaps Porzingis was a good one, but it definitely cost them this season and any slim playoff hopes they may have had are gone now. This team is limping down the stretch and I see the Nets getting back in the win column here tonight.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Miami Heat Betting Tips:
I feel like I am taking crazy pills for this one, but I am really into the Hawks here.
The Heat have really been limping down the stretch and the injuries they’ve had are just proving to be too much. No Goran Dragic or Hassan Whiteside here tonight hurt this team that is already pretty thing. This team is just not a good fit and they are 3-7 over their past ten. This team has a terrible 6-15 against the spread as a home favorite this season and are just 13-18 at home this year.
The Hawks have been a sneaky good underdog bet all season with a 19-15 against the spread record as a road underdog. They are once again getting huge points here and I just don’t think that is deserved based on their recent play. Trae Young is hitting threes from all over the court and Dewayne Dedmon has been a nice running mate with John Collins out. I just like the way this team is playing and I hate the way Miami has been. Give me almost nine points and I’m all over it.
