The UEFA Champions League sees the 2nd leg games take place this week, and I’ll be covering those.
On Tuesday the 5th of March, we’ve got Borussia Dortmund hosting Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid hosting Ajax Amsterdam.
Let’s get on with the analysis of both of those games:
Borussia Dortmund vs Tottenham Hotspur Betting Tips:
The first leg of this game saw quite a surprising result and an excellent second half performance from Spurs. After a goalless first half they came out flying with a goal 2 minutes into the second half, then scored two late goals to win 3-0.
Spurs put in a great performance in the second half and were motivated. Now we’ve got a very interesting second leg.
Dortmund are excellent at home and are unbeaten in the league but Spurs are no slouches away. The misery got worst for Dortmund as they lost a rare game in the Bundesliga, with a 2-1 loss to Augsburg just prior to this contest.
Spurs come in with a poor run of form however as well. They lost 2-1 to Burnley and lost to Chelsea while drawing with Arsenal.
It’d just feel like classic Spurs if they blew it wouldn’t it? I can’t see it but I do have to back Dortmund here. They are an excellent price and they have to win and win big. All Spurs have to do is try and only lose by 2 – or get an away goal and throw it all up in the air.

Real Madrid vs Ajax Betting Tips:
Real Madrid went to Holland and came away with an impressive 2-1 victory thanks to a late Marco Asensio goal.
Ajax were the more dominant team but will feel hard done by. They responded well domestically with thumpings of NAC Breda and ADO Den Haag.
Real Madrid come in with some struggles. They lost to Girona 2-1 then lost to Barcelona as well with a tight win over Levante sandwiched in there.
Defensively Real Madrid are able to be sliced open and are missing Sergio Ramos. Ajax have to be up for this one. I don’t know if they can win and qualify but I do think this game is open to the goals.
The odds unfortunately aren’t too great so we’ll just do a small bet and hope we get a belter of a game, rather than one of those dull and tight Champions League games.
